Beaten away, by an average team, fairly easily.

You dont mean.........................? ROFL you Arsenal fans really do think you are good side this season and its just "blips" when you get beaten. :p

I thought it was just Arsenal fans showing you had a sense of humour.

Bad result, but hopefully it should bring down a few fans who seem to think we're going to romp the Prem next year and such silliness. We still need more strength in our midfield than Gilberto and Robert "Chopper" Pires, especially with the boy Fabregas playing so much. And not to forget that we are still playing with a makeshift back line, no matter how good they've been recently.

This was a game I pretty much expected to lose (doesn't make any less annoying though :(), but it does mean the ball is now back in Tottenham's court for the 4th spot. If we can win all of our remaining games (quite possible), we'll manage it. Here's hoping.
 
Great set of results for Spurs this w/e Arsenal & Bolton losing & Blackburn only getting a point. Really need to keep the momentum going though.
 
having watched the game if anyone is under the illusion that the performance ofrooney is what won it, you seriously want to give yer head a shake.


rooney played well for about 5 mins out of 90 in which he scored and set up a goal


the man of the game was vidic. no more needs to be said.

did anyone watch the video of carlos quieroz being interviewed by BBC when the man asked him about looking to the future and wayne rooney is the future, carlos actually responded saying united have plenty of good young players (which is true) and one of his example was FLETCHER :eek:!!!
i lol'd when i heard that.

Vidic was great. Don't think anyone had a bad game really, O'Shea was missing, but he didn't really do anything terrible.

How anyone could say that wasn't a penalty and a sending off is beyond me..

Sorry, bit late with my comments, the motorway was HEAVING, stuck in a 2 hour traffic jam, went via Oldham and got back about an hour ago. I'm knackered now.

It was comfortable after 25 minutes. Saha was awesome when he came on.

I thought Ronaldo was pretty poor today, and Ruud wasn't really firing either - not awful either of them, but Ronaldo just didn't provide.

As for that racist plank, everyone who has a problem with it should use report to moderator. I think it deserves a ban too and I don't see any place for it on an internet forum or anywhere else. Some people seem to be stuck in the 1920s and I'd rather they weren't a part of any community including this one. People who think that the comment was fine need to take a serious look at themselves.

Surely its the same as someone saying "Some silly Scot guy" and I don't think anyone would take offence to that :confused:

Either way, this is Sports Arena not Speakers Corner so back on topic... Man United for the title! :o

i always wonder that fletcher must be amazing in training to get the opportunities he has - even veron wasnt given as much of a chance as him!
