I can't understand that people can be "a bit of both" because if it was a conspiracy then they knew it was happening so they couldn't have been caught napping if you get my drift?

There are people who think there was more to the attacks than we know (hence the unexpectedly high number of people who voted for the second option) but do not want to be tarnished with the same brush as those who think the US government fired a missile at the Pentagon or brought the twin towers of the World Trade Center down with controlled explosions.

OK then :) I'm not sure I could add anything that hasn't already been exhausted.

Truth: The Bush Admin knew that something was going to happen, perhaps not on the exact date of 9/11, but they knew that New York was under threat and opted to: a) do as little as possible on the day and b) brush the so called “9/11 commission” under the carpet.

There was no reason for USAF not to scramble jets to New York on 9/11, after all, they were only a few minutes away from Manhattan at the time yet they were ordered to dally about the Atlantic instead. :rolleyes: I would LOVE to know what orders NOMAD were given on that day.

I watched the documentary that another member posted, and while it didn’t tell me anything I didn’t already know, the ending actually brought a tear to my eye. It wasn’t because of the people lost in 9/11, but because of the blatant corruption of the Bush Administration and the deception of the American people. America is the complete opposite of democracy and I dread to think what is going to happen in the future.

It's an absolute sham and the majority of us can see that there is something terribly wrong here.

I dont believe what goverments tell me, They all lie, big and small lies.

If we believed everything goverments told us we would be in a new world order.

The US did somthing that caused the events of 9/11 either they missed the warning signs, which should mean CIA, FBI should be reviewed, its not like the US dont have 1000s of spies around the world trying to get information about attacks against Americans or the American enonomy.
 
Doesn't mean he's right. He says he was glad that the US was hit.....but then, how many groups rush to claim responsibility for every single terrorist attack that takes place? Are they all right?

Strange isn't it - unlike most terrorist attacks claimed by more than one group, we only hear about Al Qaeda when 9/11 is discussed - even though Bin Laden categorically insisted they weren't behind it until something changed his mind about 4 years later... wonder what that could have been :confused:

Funny how no-one believes him when he says 'we didn't do it' but when he changes his mind a few years later he's obviously telling the truth.

He also insisted that Bush had misled the American people in the three years since the 19 hijackers accomplished their mission.

So he's a liar whichever way you look at it - so why is what he or his followers say even considered as evidence?

Well one reason is the video evidence Al Q have themselves provided. Like the most recent tape where UBL meets a couple of the hijackers.

As to why AL Q deny then claim responsibility, deception one of the lessons the quran teaches is to deceive the enemy.
