9/11: the Falling Man

sod off, just because i think those people should pay for what theyve done doesnt make my thoughts "wrong". maybe your also ignorant of the fact the majority of that country were cheering that the usa got attacked, that the uk got attacked (london) and our people were kidnapped and beheaded
No, I said that because the nation of Iraq wasn't responsible for the 9/11 attacks on America. Neither was the Iraqi administration.

Also, nuking an entire country, even if it were in the wrong, would serve no purpose whatsoever; not revenge, not retribution and not justice. Two wrongs do not make a right!

And I was aware of the joy that some people showed over the attacks. However, the vast majority of regular muslims do not believe in violence. In essence Islam is a peaceful religion and its teachings advocate harmony and understanding. Unfortunately some choose to interpret it otherwise, much like some 'christians' believe that blacks, gays, jews and the handicapped are ungodly.

Plus, being **** on for decades by the bully-boys of the developed world tends to lead to a bit of resentment!

Agreed, he is not insulting anyone, and anyway, when people make comments like that when it comes down to the reality of it they don't mean it in a literal since, its just a way of expressing there anger towards a particular situation, instead. try to understand basic human behavior instead of getting all hot and botherd and jumping into the deep end.

exactly!

and Saudi Arabia or iraq or WHEREEVER they came from

Wahey! Let's all be misinformed and violent and turn the whole of the fertile crescent into a glass bowl out of some misguided notion of retribution! Wheee!

Oh, by the way...

Alright ladies, no need to ruin the thread ^^

Agreed this it to remeber the 2,986 deaths on 9/11 and the people still dying from breathing in toxic somke etc. Not to debate who should be killed in retaliation, i am as angry about it as anyone but this is neither the time or place to debate it. :)

IIRC Iraq(saddam) did help Osama with finance for the attacks, and you did see iraqis celebrating on the street a few days after it happened(Dont say it wasnt them celebrating because i remember seeing the flag)
Watching those videos posted on here does remind you in why bush went over there even if he has made some mistakes over there it makes you realize hes done the right thing and puts it into perspective IMO.
I wouldnt go as far as saying nuke a country because nukes are wrong but im going to say this and probably get flamed for it but imo if Iran threatens another country like it did to israel ever again i hope America and the Allies shut them up and teach them a lesson

I know muslims arnt behind this but muslim extremists are and they need to be stopped once and for all before something like this happens again.
Any terrorist organisation should be dealt with in a harsh manner because they are scum.

What, attacking a country that was unconnected with the initial attacks in order to gain approval for his war on Iraq?

Bush has made some mistakes???, lol, thats quite the biggest understatement ever made lol.....i think the whole things has been an utter disaster thanks to that numpty trying to fool everyone into thinking hes some sort of great leader lol. Thanks to that pea brained idiot the world has become a much much more dangerous place imho.

Can we please stop talking about the Iraq war. I'm sick and tired of the same arguements being repeated over and over. I agree going into Irag was a stupid move by all involved but it doesn't matter anymore to be honest.

Here is some footage off You Tube of the first tower collapsing and the publics reaction. This video really hit homw what it was like to be in New York at the time of the attack.

Warning, it might be a bit distressing for some.

i have american friends, and he said on the day of the attack, one side of the river was cheering, the other side were crying...which is quite shocking.
