90's US sitcoms

Thinking of others not yet mentioned ...
90s
Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (via Def II).
Blossom on Ch4.

I'm still thinking on the 80's ..
The Littlest hobo.
Flipper.
The Kids of Degrassi Street

Everybody Loves Raymond and King of Queens were fantastic. Loved the occasional crossover.

In my head Spin City was much earlier, but looking it up, it wasn't. Maybe it's just ELR is still on C4 in the mornings and I've not seen Spin City since it was on, I guess. Loved that though.

I don't think anyone has mentioned News Radio? Starred people like Joe Rogan, Stephen Root, Andy Dick, Phil Hartman... really good/funny TV.

Frasier, Cheers, Roseanne and Friends of course.

I also watched Soap - it was so ridiculous it was funny till it got toooo ridiculous.

Another was Sledge Hammer - cop comedy series he did come up with the right ideas - One being all kids from criminal parents should be jailed at birth -10 yrs you are crime free.

Everyone watched Cheers and SITC.

Not all sitcoms, but lighthearted entertainment.

Cheers
Rosanne
WKRP in Cincinnati
Frasier
Home Improvements
The Wonder Years
Friends
Married with Children
MASH

There's one US sitcom which I recall watching in the late 70s called Barney Miller.
Highly under-rated.

Anyone else remember "We Got it Made" which was on in the late 80's. Only lasted one season apparently, but I remember Teri Copley was a bit of alright in that one.

Taxi was one of those where you knew there was something special about Latka/Andy Kaufman at the time, but it wasn't until years later when the internet arrived so you could really find out just how remarkable a guy he was in comedy.

Welcome Back Kotter was another one in that same classic American fuzzy looking video style, same as Barney Miller. Remember watching it on school holiday afternoons.

I remember briefly watching Taxi in the late 80s but I was still too young for it. It wasn't until mid/late 90s I really started getting into it to really appreciate it.

Third Rock from the Sun
ALF
Key West (with a young Jennifer Tilly, on Nightscreen ITV)
Dweebs (IIRC shown at something like 11:30pm on C4)

I loved Cheers. It had such a great cosy setting. Was Cheers Friday or Sunday nights on Channel 4? Something makes me remember Friday nights 9pm...

Frasier by a mile.

True, watched that a lot as well but I remember watching a lot of The Cosby Show in the late 80s early/mid 90s. I don't care what anyone says of Bill Cosby, that show will stay a gem in my memories. :D
