911 (996)

Cheers will tell him to get one either with a warranty or to buy one from Porsche and use a good reputable specialist for servicing, i think that the service costs seem the same as his current car. :)

Anyway the 4S is pretty damn solid and the 2S is softer suspension wise. The "S" after the model variation means it is Wide-bodied , and has uprated brakes , suspension etc.

sorry missed this.

C2 and C4 share the same suspension, the S is a power upgrade and a S badge on the back, nothing at all to do with brakes and suspension, these are the same?

all 911s have immense grip, thats what they are famous for . . . .

the uprated suspension is a option, the only brake upgrade Im aware of is to 6 pots with ceramic disks, and theyre actually not worth the cash if your not tracking the car (5 grand option) mine has the 15mm lowered suspension but i dont know how much that cost new . . . .

I know a few people who have GT3s who have actually taken the ceramics off completly and gone back to floating steels (ceramics are std on GT3)

Wide of arch and aggressive of stance, the C4S is the latest in the prolific line of new-generation 911s. A mouth-watering amalgam of 911 Turbo girth, normally-aspirated flat-six muscle, all-wheel drive and a host of detail changes including 10mm lower sports suspension and enlarged brakes, the C4S could just be the pick of the current Porsche line-up

ok not 100%, mabe im wrong.

im sure the c2s is the same suspension as std cos my mates got one, and its about 15mm higher than mine (mine has 15mm lowered suspension)

is this the 996 or 997 they are talking about? (link dont work sorry)
