also why when im shooting to the otherside of the map, cant i hit people with the m95? someone was standing still and about 20 shots, none of them hit ??
 
Because your aim is so bad that you can't hit donkey's arse with a frying pan? ¬_¬

Seriously though bullets flight path drops over distance so try shooting just above target at higher distances. Also try taking into account lag when shooting moving targets.

what about if im at the highest point on the map and they're on the ground ?
if only there was the awp from cs in this game, i'd kill everything :D

Press alt + F4 ingame to unlock all locked weapons.
 
Hey guys,

Just bought this on Tuesday. Applied patch 1.02 but I have a problem now but I have a problem where it doesn't save my graphics options. I changed to 1600x1200 and most things on high, then restart the game and it defaults back to 800x600 Medium?! How do I get the settings to apply?

Look for programfiles/eagames/mods/bf2/settings/video default.con

Look for" Allow refresh rates 0 ", or something similar, change it to a 1 if it's not already.

Patches in BF used to reset this all the time, seems for some it still does in BF2.
 
Just make sure you are prone, not miles away from the target. Also if the target is moving you need to "aim off" the ammount depends on the speed/direction of the target. I could't hit nothing for awhile with the M95 but i got used to the way the weapon worked and now im as good as i am with the M24. Also take your time between shots. Especailly with the recoil on the M95.

i can hit when close up mate, just far away that i cant, i was on the tall tower in dalian plant sniping to the site that has the strange crane, a dude was stood there not moving and i couldnt hit him. it would be pointless to get down, run over there and snipe him cos i'dd likely see other enemies on the way, so the idea is to get them from afar :p
 
Had some great games last night, but had a suicidal team member who kept walking over my mines and then TK punishing me... b***ard! ;)

if you want a lame sniper, that likes to camp and snipe from gay places or an ace jet pilot, let me know. ps i can also stat pad if required :p :D
 
Im having some probs with BF2 when i try to access it, it min to desktop before the log in screen then i put it bac full screen then when i try to connect to a server it just goes to desktop...anyone can give me help as ive a clan war at 7

I just had same thing, I uninstalled BF1942 just before & read on the net that this causes probs with BF2. I also could not reinstall BF2 either, it just blipped out aftersplash screen, I used system restore to put BF1942 back & the game loaded to the log in but had lost my details, also all the keyboard settings had to be reset.
However I doubt this is your problem, I looked on the net & found the actual problem is solved by typing in your CD key again somewhere . I wrote it down but can't find it.
this is it :Go to your Battlefield 2->Support folder, double-click on Battlefield 2_code.exe and type in your CD key again

Got a small issue with BF2, wonder if any can help. It's just the grass, but it appears to be being drawn at a very close distance, not popping up as such but morphing out of the ground when I move forward. It's quite an obvious problem and I was just wondering if there is maybes a fix for this? :confused:
