There is a bit of dip at very long range, one of them things you get a feeling for.

I prefer to run around and snipe at fairly close range. Get a lot o kills like that

ye close range I have no problems with but long range doesnt seem to work for me I gues I could pick up the habbit after a while

£6.50 last week. I used to play in the BETA, Then the game on release. Stopped playing about 2007. Bought the game in 2008 and it's the only game I play now online.

Bought the collection last week for the add-ons. There good but BF2 alone is the best IMO

AIX 2. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING.

But with very little servers? and it seems it would only be good if your in a large clan.

Im getting a new pc soon so i can play this on high settings, makes a change from low lol.

If i just install vanilla bf2 will i still be able to use the weapons i unlocked from playing special forces even though i havnt installed that expansion pack?

Any useful tips from the seasoned pros for a newbie like me

? Ive got used to the newbs on consoles you see

has anyone else had trouble installing the latest FULL patch onto Battlefield2 using Win7 7100?

i see other people have had this issue on the net, and resort to registry changes although ive tried that and it does not work.

Any ideas guys?

What do you mean by 'latest patch'.....the official 1.41 or the new(ish) beta?

I've just installed BF2 and the booster packs this morning on Win7 7100 with the 1.41 patch without a problem.
