A battlefield2 thread

BF1942 was brilliant imo, but the desertcombat mod owned so i hope its on the lines of that. BFV was a bag of poo imo hated everything to do with it.

One things for sure you going to get a massive amounts of mods for it.
 
i agree tbh i found when i had 512meg of ram on 1942 it was poor, very choppy play i found a 512 and 256 stick made it smooth at that time, i feel u need a min of 1 gig for ultra smooth play and i imagine it be the same on this.

I was running a 9800 pro at the time, and am talking when they had just come out and the game was appauling on 512k, may be worth a upgrade for u, also depends what u playing it on
 
I got bored last night so ended up downloading DC_Final and jumping on that big university server, it was great fun :D

I looked on Desert Wombats but nobody was on :(

Okay thats no problems :) but do you mind me asking, when members mention cs servers, there okay? Not wanting this to go into a dispute! But just wanna know :p

The intention of me posting the servers, is so that the ppl on here wanting to know where they could play bf2 have this opportunity :) Were not making money out of it or anything like that. Its there for fun!

yeah i think it be a good thing to get another 512k, but try it first might be fine.

All the CS:S threads have been deleted so it's logical to assume it's a rule change, or the rules were there they are just more moderated. In addition, it is not a good idea to question a mod in public ;)

why not have a servers section in the HL2/CS;S2/BF1942 sticky at the top, thats where i looked for servers but there is no detail.

otherwise, u end up with posts from people asking for servers, and people posting servers looking for people!

I don't mind being questioned in public, as long as the question is polite, as it was in this case :)

Kinobe: To answer your question, we don't mind the occassional "does anyone fancy a game" type post, but people who are blatently advertising their servers get their threads deleted. It's often done on a case by case basis, but generally, if people are promoting their clans, that's when it gets deleted.

there is a site where, BFstats.net? cant check because im a work.

you you use this site to check for all players of BF1942, DC, DCF, BFV etc.

just put in their username, so to l ook for me, type in [DW]bandit, or for all [DW], or Kinobe, or anyone else you want to play with.

this means that if there is someone you particularly have a luagh with, or know, you can hunt them down. :)

the site also gives interesting stats as well

if you can;t find the site do a google search..
