A battlefield2 thread

neither did i. anyway ive gone back to my soundstorm onboard and it ok now. I used to run in high textures with onboard sound but then i tried my audigy2zs and it was like a slideshow, so went back to onboard and had to lower textures to be able to play. :confused:
 
Hey dudes i found out today that i am 224th in the World with a Shotgun and i am 315th in the World as Anti Tank. GR = Global rating.

I am chuffed to bits considering there must be 2-3 hundred thousand playing BF2. Anyone else up there with me or Higher in any global rating.

I am in the top 200 for air defence, i got as high as 65th but stopped playing it for a few weeks. I used to be in the top 100 for ground defence too.

hi guys

sorry if this has been asked before but i've been playing bf2 for less than a week and i'm having problems.
i set up a online account with a nickname, the trouble is is that it shows up once in the log on screen and once in bfhq but in the game it is repeated twice when i speak or kill someone or get killed myself (more often than not, lol) etc etc, now i could live with that but the trouble is my stats dont ever seem to update they havent updated since the first day. i am assuming its something to do with this double entry in game though this name doesnt exist when i do a compare search in bfhq. i have tried setting up another profile but i then get my original name and my new name together ingame. i am assuming my original name is the account name as well as my nickname but i dont ever recall putting this name in twice. Any ideas guys, i expect its me being a complete noob but i can live with that if any one can tell me whats gone wrong as its getting frustrating at not progressing anywhere in this game. i only play official ea european servers at the moment so it should update.

If you sign into the gamespyid website then that'll show you what's registered to your email address.

You should be able to delete accounts from there and try and start again, if your stats aren't updating anyway and as long as you aren't subscribing to gamespy or any of the other ign sites?

I'm not sure of the link at the mo but it's got gamespyid in it! ;)
 
thanks for reply. i went to gamespyid amd cant get anywhere cause apparently my email address is being used by someone else and it isnt me cause i havent had it long myself. computers dont you just love em lol
 
that someone else is you i expect, as you set up an account already.. check you put in the right log-in details or that your not trying to create a new account (because it's already made, you just have to log in (in the top right of gamespyid.com)).

Just put anything you like in there, it doesnt display what you have at present so that could be it. Stick an ocuk tag in there
 
thanks guys putting ocuk got rid of my name being entered twice (such a noob lol) but i dont know what to do about my stats not updating i went to gamespyid and managed to get logged in but the option to delete my profile is greyed out so i cant do it. i guess i'll have to set up another email address and have another go

That is right so your stats should be updating :confused:

edit: do you always play right to the end of the round?
 
I never play on EA Official servers. Any points and medals I get on those servers never show up :eek: Same with my clanmates.

Just find one of the thousand other ranked servers.
 
well they are not updating and yes i do play to the end of the round the last update was 14/10/05 and i have been playing it everyday on the official servers so i dont know what the problem is. i even got the basic assault badge twice on seperate occasions so thats what leads me to thinking that it is not saving my progress. looks like i'm destined to always be a lowly grunt lol

I'm 88th out of 655457 for medic class. :cool:

And 1045th for total score out of 1141640. :)

I've actually got a badge you haven't today U.G.H. it's the veteran Assault combat badge :D

I can't compete with your positions though :p

I'm rated 6613th with an assault rifle though which isn't too bad i suppose. I havent put in as many hours as you though and I'm not such a tank whore lol :D
