A Minecraft Movie

The wife and I took our 3 lads to the cinema for the very first time last weekend to see Paddington in Peru. The trailer for Minecraft came on and their jaws dropped. Been trying to keep them away from any trailers for it since it was announced. Guess they are going to see that too.
 
Fortnite movie will be next, easy money for these studios cashing in on the popularity.

Just need to be careful though, look at Borderlands :p
 
My two boys are really into their Minecraft, but somehow I'm too embarrassed to even show them the trailer for this one! :eek:
 
Booted up Plex on the Tv to watch a movie from the PC other day and the Minecraft trailer was on it, the kids went ballistic thinking it was the movie. They watched that trailer about 5 times. Guess they are 100% going to see it then. In fairness, it looks fun. No doubt it will be a massive box office hit. Might even say biggest of all time considering the following Minecraft has, in game and on Youtube.
 
2 days until release, just in time for half term. Anyone taking their kids over the weekend? I'm worried it may be too busy for my 2 who want to see it. Thinking best to wait till it settles down, I will assume it will be a rather popular movie.
 
Booked in for Friday. Taking my 9 year old son and 2 of his school friends. My sister is coming with her 8 year old as well.

one of my friends has a son who sort of likes Minecraft but doesn't want to see it. His dad wants to see it though and he's coming with me and my 2 lads. At least there 1 extra adult in case of my kids needing the toilet. Just got to decide when to go.
