A mouse makes a difference..

I remember a company bring out a keyboard where every key was a small LCD screen. Can't remember who though, I always wanted one:p.
someone should bring out some really cool almost retro keyboard with normal modern keys etc but cool features like a few

a couple of analogue meters etc even if the needle just bounces every time you tap a key or moves in sync with the flashing leds

That would do well for launching missiles:D.

I'm still using a mx518 that's over 10 years old.

It's on its last legs mind, having recently had to re-solder the cables near the usb connector.

The cable has started getting on my nerves since moving to a smaller desk, but looking at a wireless replacement, I'd be looking at circa £100~ for a Logitech g502 or g903 :(

but then you can spend more money on a mouse matt that can charge your mouse :D

Haha, I did see that. There's no chance I'd ever buy one of those, however, I appreciate they are v.cool.

Being a bit tight when it comes to the mouse is abit silly though really isn't it. You're literally holding it the entire time, gaming or not.

Maybe a £100 mouse is justifiable after all...:D

What I love about the Rival 310 and Lancehead TE, if the cord or connector gets damaged, I can order a new paracord cable and it's good as new. (With your choice of designed cable.) I've got two spare for both. Paracord feels awesome though as a guy from Germany makes them from Overclock.net.

I recently upgraded to a g pro wireless, after using it for a few months it’s hands down the best mouse I’ve owned, I do think once you get to the more expensive mouses it just comes down to personal preference and comfort though, As the g pro is super comfortable, super light. And with the mouse mat to match it just glides :D

(I also wanted to go wireless because I kept catching the wire on everything)

I bought a razor mamba (1st one) and I didn't like it, battery didn't even last a week. Every other mouse ice had since lasts months of a single charge, not sure if mine was a bad one. I'd never go back to wired as cables annoy me.

Edit, it might have been the Optimus, it was a decade or so ago so my memory's a bit fuzzy:p.

You have me intrigued with the replaceable cables.

I couldn't see anything on the product page for the rival 310 though, so now i've gone down the rabbit hole of replacing the original cable on the mx518!
