They are below the HX series of power supplies. I hate the semi fanless mode on my HX+ 750w since the fan spins up far too loud after being in passive, i would much rather the fan be quiet at all times.Where do these fit in the Corsair Range? My Corsair AX does the fan slowing/stopping at low load thing... but these new RM look to be priced lower than AX?

AX range is made by Seasonic
AXi range is made by Flextronics
RM range is made by CWT
Efficiency rating is not the be all and end all of the quality of the PSU. You could get a 80 plus platinum but can still cause blown components easily if it fails.
There seems to be a mis-conception that the 80 Plus rating is the most important thing about a PSU now.
I have to agree with Westy, its not the efficiency that matters, for the most part, its the guts, and pretty much all reviewers that properly dig into the guts instead of just going on what appears on the box, agree on the fact that seasonic based psu's are better.

There is nothing wrong with the flextronics AXi series either though, the reason being seasonic couldn't do the digital supply for corsair, flextronic is a quality build aswell.
seven-year warranty.
You mean similiar to mine? Which is sadly EOL now.
