lol. I shall attempt to put another perspective on this one. Me been a Sheep... oh no thats offensive, Welsh... I see everyday wet mocked, we get racism, there was a thread only the last week where the whole base was mock the welshman... iirc the welsh amongst us was taking it as humour and giving it back to the english/nordic/norse/german/french/inbread people accross the other side of Offas Dyke. Its all humor fellas, i couldnt care less if anyone posted sheep pictures with welsh flags on all day long, its a symbol of our country and its funneh! Lighten up Ash and all the other christian fellas.
As previously posted, were already moderated enough without getting totally Politically (sp?) correct and only been able to talk about , well, i dunno... How nice is the weather today, how nice is your sheep? Lighten up once and for all
By the way, I get offended with Anti welsh jokes so please dont mock my country/religion/belief/sheep.

I see fit to mock anything and everything I see. I take the mick out of my Pakistani housemate all of the time - he sees it for what it is, a joke. Hair colour / skin colour / religion / obesity / accent etc etc have all been used for comedic purposes for centuries.
Ok, take a look at the comic strip thread. Megzy, Otacon, Gilly, Huddy and numerous others have been *directly* 'insulted' by those comics and have taken them in the manner expected.
Is it too much to ask that you take these indirect "insults" in the manner intended - as a JOKE?

Our point being is that if we drop our censorship to include Jesus pictures, a lot of other things will need to be banned too. Such as tattoo and piercing threads, as no doubt some people find these offensive in some ways.

As for the OP, my beliefs are similar to DRZ. Religion itself costs us money, wastes our time and justifies actions that people would normally never consider doing.
If you don't like the pictures then don't look at them or take them humerously like they were intended. You choose your beliefs, so you are choosing to be offended by them.

To the OP. I think that you should accept that there are people on this forum that will not respect your beliefs. In all fairness this forum is made up of many different people from all ever the place who believe in different things. Posting images of religious icons can either be deemed as offensive, or light hearted humour depending on the actions of the person who posted them and the person reading them.
If this was a Christian forum then things would be different. I wouldnt really be bothered if I were you about what other people on here think about you and your religion, as long as your happy with yourself and your beliefs.
