A strongmans log - British champion u105KG

Yes doovis there was a medley as the final event, plus they were out of time otherwise Ben would have carried on lol.

Awesome to watch, well done :D

I want to know what athletes they tested the sled pull on lol that was horrendous!

I'm so humbled to be able to share the forum with a WSM world champion.

So much this. As dumb as this sounds, I'm still pretty awestruck that I have exchanged posts on a forum with somebody who has won a world class event the likes of which I used to watch on the TV as a kid.

Awesome. :D

Things I enjoyed in the video:

- People weighing more than 105kg?!?
- Epic squatting domination
- General domination with a couple of cheeky grins
- Pretty close at the top until the last few events
- The ex wrestler guy smashing the medley

It seems like some of the events were a bit calibrated. I know you've said you found the sled easy, but surely it shouldn't be the case that only one guy in the field can complete the event?

Very surprised to see you struggle with that DB, the frustration was visible. At least it didn't cost you in the end.

Well done!

Again...

Again...

They allowed a tolerance of 1.5KG at weigh-in because some guys flights only landed 2 hours before, but I think they should have listed everyone as sub 105kg on the TV, because it looks somewhat confusing!

We all due respect to the other guys, they made the sled look much harder than it was... the problem wasn't the weight, it was the rope. It was very elasticated, so you had to maximise the length of each pull, short pulls did nothing more than take the flex out of the rope. It certainly didn't make great viewing!

The dumbbell slipped on my sweaty shoulders, making it much more difficult that it should have been, I will never do DB in a vest again!
