A town or city with no kids

how can you not know kerby/curby.

We had it in England though for sure cos I know it and I'm from the midlands
:D

Kerby was the single reasons me and all of my peers religiously use our indicators. Nothing worse than playing Kerby at the end of a road that has a very common turn just before it, and road users wouldn't indicate and we'd hold play till they went past.

Used to play this as well.......might introduce my kids to it, they'll probably have no idea what it is.

Used to also play the game where you tried to get a coin closest to the wall, forgot the name of this. Winner took all the money on the floor (only played with coppers).

Yes! Used to love that. At middle school we ended up playing for those new fangled Pound coins

I see very few kids outside these days anyway.

during the 80s and 90s every street had kids outside playing with footballs, hide and seek in peoples gardens etc.
every kid had a bike or skateboard

do modern kids even know kerby?

I was thinking that also but then maybe I'm just out of touch.

All using internet or whatever gadget, probably buying drugs on darknet.

Recently the outdoor pack of 10-20 kids on my street have taken to occasionally playing in front of my house, and the noise they make is infuriating. Even more so that a bit further down the development is an open green space they could use.

if you have kids try it, it's more fun than you'd think and does take some skill
