A town or city with no kids

I'd still rather that.
90 percent of the issues round here are from kids

Those scooters are everywhere. Dropping litter. Shooting birds in the park with bb guns, a pack of them threatening to nick my bike.
Some kid got his e-bike stolen by a bunch of them while he was on it.

Yeah I'd rather the old people.

But thats due to the area not the kids... where I live everyone has kids but it's not like that ....

Yeah but still. Without kids it. Wouldn't be so bad!
I've never lived anywhere like this before I have to say. And it's extremely localised. 500m can mean difference between a really nice bit and an absolute **** hole.

Luckily I live on the very edge in the nicer bit. But 3 streets away its a dive.

I don't mind kids, but screaming kids do my head in.

We're on a fairly quiet estate where most are retired. It's mostly peaceful until the parents drop off their screaming brats for the grandparents to look after.

Then it's non-stop screaming, tantruming until the parents collect their little darlings again.

But what can you do... not allowed to discipline or even say "no" these days :p Better to let them scream themselves out, apparently. Which is exactly what they do, for hours on end, until parents appear to reclaim them.

I'd quite like to live in a town with no boomers or older people.

Sensible house prices, appropriate bedroom to resident occupancy ratios in family homes, no old codgers slowing down my supermarket shopping, easy to access GP surgeries that are uncluttered with people that should have died 10 years ago, commute to work unhindered by motorists driving 20mph below the speed limit.

Sounds pretty great IMO.

Boomers are old people the oldest are close to 80 now and the very youngest 57.

My Nan and grandad absolutely loved kids, adored them. Best Nan and grandad a child could ever have, but they never wanted to be round them when they was on holiday, so used to love the old Warner’s adult only resorts.

Strange, or understandable?

Understandable.

Everyone thinks their own kids are the best thing in the world. But for everyone else they are just an annoyance.

These exist in the US, particularly Florida, essentially small towns where you have to be over 55 to buy/rent a property - they'll often be gated, have their own shopping, leisure and medical facilities sometimes their own police force etc..
