Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2010, Yas Island Marina Circuit - Race 19/19

The idea of Hamilton getting a grid penalty for that previous incident is pure ridiculous.
They'd be shooting themselves in the foot with that one. If anything, it'll be a cash fine or a slap on the wrists.

did he just say button has led hamilton 28% of the season? so thats 72% hamilton been infront of button.

but button has lead 160km more.
Total percentage would include periods where only one of them is on the track though, wouldn't it? Which wouldn't count as "being ahead".

EDIT: As in, that's NOT "28% of the time both Button and Hamilton have been on the track, Button has been ahead", but rather "28% of the entire race time"

I've had a sneaky suspicion lewis will win this weekend's GP because he and his car are strong here.

The run up to this race last year he wasn't doing brilliantly and then just won this race as a consolation prize and I had a feeling he'd do the same this year.

Sincerely hope he wins and if so Vettel, Alonso and Webber all get taken out or have engine problems or something.

Highly unlikely but as long as Lewis gets pole and wins the race he may well just have a chance!

The pressure really will be on the others which could force them into rash decisions.

On the contrary, if Lewis were to take the lead, Alonso could play it a lot safer, as he could win the title from back in fifth. Were Button to get in on the action too, that would do him even more good.

I'm not going to read too much into practice sessions because they usually don't tell the whole story, but the Red Bulls so far are not looking particularly dominant considering they need to be 1-2, if either Hamilton or Alonso can split the Red Bulls their game plan goes completely out of the window, unless it's Webber on pole (unlikely).

Perfect ending for me would be something similar to Massa when Hamilton won the WDC. Give Alonso hope and 99.9% win it for then Webber to win the WDC instead.

Would be awesome for Hamilton to win the WDC again but I can't see it happening the Alonso, Webber and Vettel all DNF. What I suspect will happen though is Vettel leads, Webber second and Alonso third, Hamilton fourth. The question which no one knows the answer to though is will Vettel move over in this situation?

He will move over, though likely he will leave it as late as he can and make it as obvious as he can. "I gave Mark his championship" etc etc.

Though I think Hamilton will be quite strong here and could win it.

1 hour of f1 racing a fortnite isnt enough :( i say up i to 3 hours!

Too right.
If I had my way, I would have 2 races per weekend. Maybe have Race1 on a Saturday and Race2 on a Sunday, with qualifying on Saturday morning.

After the completion of Race1, teams should be permitted to change their set-ups. This would mean that the dominant cars in Race1 will not necessarily dominate Race2.

However, as the current format has been going on for some many years, this is very unlikely to change.

Qualifying on Saturday and Race on Sunday is here to stay.
