Christian Horner just left FIA. Refused to comment saying statements would be issued. If there was no penalty you feel he'd have said so.

If RB can convince the stewards that its a fuel system issue and there is enough fuel then fair enough. If they try to tell the stewards it was a problem withy eh fuel system when there isn't actually enough fuel in the tank they should be excluded from the race at least! I hope an FIA technical steward is there when they bring the car back and they de,and the tank be drained immediately. Less then a litre in the tank? Exclusion from the race for lying to the stewards.

First thing that happens is it was unloaded then added to the queue of cars waiting to be weighed in and fuel checked.

I'm not sure what happens if say a car has a gearbox failure, stops out on track is brought back and found to also not have enough fuel. I would assume that not having enough fuel means they get put to the back of the grid no matter what, if you have other problems as well, it doesn't much matter at that point.

Stewards say Vettel's car "had 850 ml fuel on board which is not enough for the required one litre fuel sample." #F1

So underfuelled - therefore - disqualified from the session.

BREAKING OFFICIAL: RBR/Vettel news from FIA... Force majeur, *but* DSQ for VET, pitlane start.

Not the pitlane start - back of the grid instead.
