Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2012, Yas Marina - Race 18/20

Yeah and people said I was wrong with him playing up to this personality.

$$$$$$

Click the link in Skeeters post utajoker. Not that I blame him for making more money, just the falseness of it all.
That's just some random web shop making those to sell isn't it rather than Kimi himself?

The one's he had made and gave out to everyone at Lotus are gold writing on black.

Then they won't last long infringing on his image/helmet for very long if this has been done without his consent or manager agreeing a slice.
Well, there's a small disclaimer at the bottom saying it's all unofficial unless otherwise stated. I think the whole mini driver image is just far enough away from reality to allow them to get away with it.

Yes I'm wrong then, I still think he could have them easily for infringment and using his image but it looks like this isn't going to him, yet.

Unlap is 100% unofficial but does only produce things with the permission of the teams or drivers. Its why there is no McLaren stuff, they wouldn't give permission. They currently use just blank cars or drivers in the complete season images but in 2011 they used MacLaren push chairs, which was lol.

Interesting never seen it before :)

I have a friend who will love that kimi stuff though, thanks!

aw, I was hoping that it was all part of his plan to create a new image of himself and use it to sell mugs, hats and t shirts, thus becoming a billionaire.

Indeed they are. The difference is that the Caterhams, Marussias and HRTs get out of the way of everybody, but the Toro Rossos only get out of the way of Red Bulls. If you don't see why this is a problem, and why it is bad for the sport, then I don't know what to say.

Indeed, I remember the fuss when the Sauber's used to move out the way for MS but hold JV as long as possible :D

I remember the Torro Rosso jumping out the way for Webber at Abu Dhabi in 2010 yet Alonso had to work for it.

I should point out, mostly because I like sticking it to Button and because its relevant, but Kovo held up Button with his Caterham for ages earlier this season. The back three teams get out of the way when they are being lapped, none of them give up positions particularly easily when they have track position, they are however incredibly easy to pass because they've got no power, no speed and no cornering ability in general.

The TR isn't great but its a damn site better than the other three, can corner, and has power down the straight making it not a straight foward pass. Any team, including the back three, who don't fight for track position is bad for the sport full stop, when one team "owes" another team and will let one person past, but not others, it gets even worse.

At what point do TR get used, final race of the season, Vettel is second to Alonso and will lose the title if he doesn't win. Pit the TR's so they come out infront of the leaders then hold up Alonso on purpose? I'm less worried about a simple pass, and more worried about the potential for using a second team in far more season changing ways.

no one complained in 97 at suzuka when hill purposely held schumacher up for over a lap when he was being shown blue flags.

You forget that Hill and MSc had a "feud", which started in 1994, when MSc punted Hill off the track. Hill then retaliated at Silverstone (I can't remember which year). It comes as no surprise that when Hill met him at Suzuka, on track, he made life difficult for MSc.

I do appreciate though, that on this forum, people seem to have double standards when it comes to RBR and Vettel, vs all other drivers.

Anybody who knows anything about F1 knows that Vettel is a top driver and RBR are the best team right now. Some people will close their eyes to this...but you don't win 2 (and maybe a 3rd title in a few weeks) without having a high degree of skill.

Vettel showed earlier this year (Australia 2012), that he can beat Hamilton when he has a slower car. I can't remember a time when I saw Hamilton beat Vettel in a slower car (perhaps someone can remind me). That was enough to convince me that this guy is the real deal and not some chump who has lucked into the best car on the grid.

FIA NEED to step in and make a rule change to prevent RBR domination (just as they did when MSc was dominating). They need to find a way to give other teams a chance. I'm not sure which rules they can change, because RBR, from top to bottom, have no weaknesses...but something needs to change. At present, it is conceivable that RBR could be the best team for the next few years, surpassing Ferrari's 6 year dominance. So far, they have been the best team for 3.5 years (since mid 2009).

The FIA needed to stick to the original rules that stopped EBDs. I'm fairly certain the EBD and now the pseudo EBD they have is the biggest single contributor to their dominance.

"You forget"

I'd bet my house Arknor hasn't forgotten that, why do you post like your a school teacher giving a lecture? :p

Besides Hill didn't retaliate at Silverstone in 95, he was just **** and he went for a gap that was closing before he started, because he was ****.

You honestly think this was retaliation? In a title where he had the best car and needed to win?

Or maybe this one from 95 to further cement why Williams said **** off Damon. Just for a second imagine this happened today with one of the current drivers. Imagine the lol's on here...
