I must be mistaken. I thought he was a driver for Red Bull Racing, not team owner AND driver of Perez Racing.
Race wins are far more important than 2nd positions. You know this.

Not sure its ironic. Seb was a bit of a ***** when he raced for RB and since he left he has seemingly changed a lot. I doubt people will still be booing Max in 5 years if he does the same.

Currently Max is a massive knob who is very unlikeable. If he changed then peoples reaction to him will change.

Lift and coast on straights, hit hard in corners will keep temps high enough you loose almost zero performance.

Give your team mate an easy 6th place to help the team achieve their first ever 1-2 in the WDC.

Or

Defy team orders and launch your toys in to orbit resulting in your team mate having a harder job in the final race of the season.

For a team with such a dominant car they had the opportunity to seal the end of a dominant season by saying to the world “our team is so good we came 1st and 2nd” and utterly bottled it.

The extra two points in Brazil wouldn't have been enough anyway. If Perez in that car still can't get 2nd overall that's more on him to be honest.

Vettel's a legend, Mick didn't do his family name justice and Latifi wouldn't look out of place doing donuts and crashing in to cars in a B&Q carpark.

Good race, Max dominant again, Ferrari made the right tyre calls for once and a positive end to the season for Lando.
Looking forward to next season and we'll see if Max can prove all the doubters and haters wrong, but sad it will be without Seb..

Seb wasn't a **** at all. He had a few moments like every driver but he just suffered the wrath of the Hamilton nutjob supporters like everyone who's challenged and beaten him.

Can't overtake, wouldn't win a race without the best car, Webber was better than him, most arrogant driver for holding a finger up when he won and a lot more garbage from the same people who now hate Max

Agreed, Seb was an arrogant git at RB cos of the usual Horner blowing smoke up the **** of him and putting him on a pedestal. He's gained a bit of humility and maturity since leaving them.

Max's whole support circle are arrogant ***** so no wonder he's grown up into one! Add RB into the mix and you've got a marriage made in heaven. But just leaving them won't change him. To be honest I could see him staying there most of his career cos they'll pander to him like no other team will.
