Accusations of trolling

While we're on the subject can we do something about the people that wander into threads discussing a particular match who have no affiliation to either team, who then go on to post things like:

"Hhahaha hat Mancs, glad they lost"

The people who enter threads just to have a pop?

Can we do something about them?

We all know you're terribly offended by anyone calling your favourite manager names. It's ok to admit it, no one will think the less of you for the sensitivity. ;)

More seriously it would be nice if people stopping shouting about trolling just because they have a different opinion - as you've said if they feel someone is trolling then RTM it and it will be checked out, in the meantime if people don't respond to it then it should naturally die a death.

That does look like trolling - covered under the provisions about simply posting to get a reaction. In such cases please report it and if it's viewed as trolling then it will be dealt with.

it's a good point and yes we can deal with that if it's just to cause trouble

I would add though that people are allowed to want whoever they want to win a game even if it's not their team, there is nothing wrong with someone wanting the "other team" to win solely because of who they are playing, that's all part of the game

the whole point is to stop what you have just done, report things rather than naming another member as a troll

it will still RTM, many folks report trolling

TBH if you are referring to his posts tonight then they are fairly harmless

no it wasn't, the matter is closed, the rules state that if you want to discuss moderating issues you do it offline

you made a derogatory post about another member, simple as that, others saw it the same as per the RTMs
 
OK, maybe it's just me being stupid but you've all said it about 12 times now and i still can't figure it out... WHAT THE HELL DOES RTM STAND FOR!!!! :(

That happens in every weekend thread, subtle or not.

Like I said, I am the only one on here so it always looks like I am calling every team :p but its not the case, I wont be coward and retract the stuff I have said in the passed and how I would wind G|mp like mad , like I say RTM my posts, I aint bothered and you wonder why its all Mancs, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea fans on here. So fans of other clubs cant talk about the sky 5?
