"Virtually" has become stupidly overused around here. Virtually every commercial you hear can tell you virtually all their products work for virtually everyone virtually all the time.

Whatever happened to the words "nearly" and "almost"? But I guess it is better than using "literally".

May I throw in the monumental retardedness that is the usage of the word 'seen' when people mean 'seeing'?

I see it all over the place on here, too much for it just to be a random typing mistake

'Seen' is often used instead of 'saw', that really winds me up.

This one irks me too! Also, I hate the misuse of "an" or "a", I really don't understand how so many people can mess it up. If the word starts with a vowel sound use "an" if not, use "a" so it's "an x-ray" not "a x-ray".

As above, it's based on what the spoken word starts with, not the written. If the phonetic pronunciation starts with a vowel sound, it is to be "an".

Just to clarify for some people, honourable is pronounced with an 'o', and European is pronounced with a 'y'
