All the examples in this thread 'annoy' me I guess, but I know I've made enough mistakes myself when typing so I shan't go on about it!

I've always wondered if "my bad" maybe comes from sarcasm in response to someone typing "your bad" (instead of you're)

I've started to notice people writing 'passed' instead of 'past'.

Example: "I drove passed them"

Funny thread is addicting.

Maybe it's too late, but that almost makes sense.

It gets my goat when people ask for 'advise'. It seems to be a very common on these boards too.

It's one of those horrible American terms like chilax. Just don't like it.Why do we have to copy everything they do?
My bad?? It sounds like something a baby would say because they can't string a proper sentence together.

I always perceive addicting as an adverb, and addictive as an adjective.

Annoying me at the moment is people leaving out the word 'to'.

"I'm going Prague next week"

No you're not, you dullard, you're going TO Prague next week.

Sound like a northern thing to me, presumably evolved from the "going t'shops" kinda thing, but just people are now so lazy they even leave out the " t' ".
