Adebayor hit with two bans.

He's only defending his player Whingebag, just as you always do regardless of the circumstances.

Whinger said:
"You ask 100 people, 99 will say it's very bad and the hundredth will be Mark Hughes."

Every football fan said:
"You ask 100 people, 99 will say it's a dive and the hundredth will be Arsene Wenger."

Why do managers always defend a player no matter what he has done. Do they think they are being "loyal" to them. They are like politicians, standing there lying about something, and they know that we know they are lying and they still do it.

Ridiculous the fans take the **** outta him then hes not allowed to do it back. Kick to the head wasnt even that bad either, revenge for the earlier tackle. The game is turning into a joke

Gah, I don't really care anymore, I mean he should get a ban for his stamp, without question, but its hard to feel like a moral victory is obtained by a ban after the game for a stamp he did in the game, then the team, which should have been down to 10 men, went on to win anyway. nor the fact if he gets a 4/5 game ban, he gets a month off, while he sits about making around a million squid, harsh punishment. Do I really think he cares how the team does(bar bonus's) no, do I think he's happy he has his paycheck and thats all that matters, and will keep getting it.

I also think Utd could be the game he doens't score, gets a pounding, loses his form and his fans turn on his lazy ass soon after, but I'm sure that will happen eventually anyway.

Hey, maybe Man City will submit a 19 page dossier and employ a forensic analyist to prove there was no intent and he'll get off with it.

or Maybe they'll look at the evidence and realise he is guilty as charged:
Man City accept Adebayor charge

So it was revenge for the earlier tackle, is that the tackle made a second earlier, if so Adebayor really makes up his mind quickly upon what to take revenge. Fact is, and you stated it, he retaliated which is a red card offence, and as has been pointed out numerous times, it was on the cheek just next to his eye, little higher and it could've been a lot more serious.

At least one of the teams in the Prem can accept punishment when they do wrong and accept it with class instead of constantly whinging and lying about the incident.

Accept it? There's nothing they can do but accept it; it's one of the most black and white cases seen for a while now. There are also other legitamate reasons why it shouldn't be contested.

This.

What could Manchester City possibly say to defend that? :D

Lol just LOL...ermm as said before they have no choice but to accept the charge...which is violent conduct...tell me how do you think Man City should defend that charge exactly??...

Do what Arsenal did. Hire a lawyer to 'prove' there was no intent, and that the FA had not sent emails properly :)

Ermmmm someone correct me if im wrong but the charge is violent conduct is it not??...the FA arent charging him with intent are they??...talk about getting your facts wrong there Nor....seriously id give up before you make yourself look like more of a tit than you are already..

He deserves a violent conduct charge without a doubt.

But glad it looks like they are letting the "incitement" **** be finally laid to rest.

In the news again today saying he doesn't regret it as he didn't mean it

Why doesn't he just do himself a favour and shut the hell up.

Maybe hes hoping that the powers that be do what they did with Eduardo, I'm sure he didn't mean to dive gracefully as a sack of **** get himself a ban then have it overturned. Folk referred to video evidence. means nothing though doesn't it unless the viewing panel was ray charles, stevie wonder and david blunkett? :p
