So it was revenge for the earlier tackle, is that the tackle made a second earlier, if so Adebayor really makes up his mind quickly upon what to take revenge. Fact is, and you stated it, he retaliated which is a red card offence, and as has been pointed out numerous times, it was on the cheek just next to his eye, little higher and it could've been a lot more serious.

At least one of the teams in the Prem can accept punishment when they do wrong and accept it with class instead of constantly whinging and lying about the incident.

Accept it? There's nothing they can do but accept it; it's one of the most black and white cases seen for a while now. There are also other legitamate reasons why it shouldn't be contested.
