For sure the Sharpening and Noise removal tools have some way to go in Lightroom, but that's the only reason I would need to use Photoshop before printing an image.

Is there the ability to have plugins in Lightroom? Just wondering if Neat Image / Noise Ninja will produce a plugin for it or are we stuck with Adobe's (poor) attempt at noise reduction?

Well it's out \o/
I think it's an awesome application and if you haven't tried it out yet then I highly recommended you do :)

I have it too !!! :D

SDK that really is a lot of EF85mm F1.2 samples that I just feel your holding back on us!

I have never seen such a nice bokeh effect on the cleavage of a woman like that before :p

Seriously though I am loving this program.. It isnt as quick for me I find but then its packing a hell of a lot more than RSP

The heal tool is very clever!

Giving you a real time effect of the clone/heal by moving around the orb is just fantastic.

just to brush the surface.

I can't get used to the heal/clone tool in LR :( Although a cracking piece of software.

Just tried this properly for the first time and think it's awesome. I had previously installed the beta ages ago but my crappy old PC couldn't handle it - iMac widescreen and Intel duo is great though.

With no real knowledge, I have imported all of my previous couple of months' photos, added copyright and tag metadata in about 10 minutes. Gone are the days of manually creating folders...

Gonna give it a good workout for the next month and then I reckon a purchase will probably be in order :)

Making sure you have the heal tool selected you get two circles.

the first circle is the area you want to heal so cover the damage caused by sensor dust.

The second circle is where it is getting the replacement data from. so move this and notice the arrow stays attached to the 1st to show where it is going to flow into. If you move this into different tonal areas it will clearly show a live preview of what the new heal is going to look like.

I am still lost with the program, the sharpening doesn't seem to do anything, can't figure out how to add a tag on each photo easily (I can do it with a slideshow thou), and worst of all, I dunno how to save an image after doing some editing !!!! :(
