Yes. And the unseen harm it can do.My take on the programme is less of an attack on social media but more of a warning to parents to how their children are exposed to it.
Yes, agreed. And that’s basically what I meant. If anything I think the episode was commentary on how ‘children being left alone in the safety of their homes’ doesn’t make them safe… that’s not an attack on media; it’s a cautionary tale for well-meaning parents that take their eye off the ball because they aren’t mistreating their children in any ‘obvious’ way.
As @Kenai said the difference now is that kids spent a lot of that time on social media rather than playing games, watching porn etc. I used to play Delta Force until the early hours but there was no FB, or Insta etc. to suck me into horrible influencers like the Tates or whatever.See I don't know what to think here. I remember being a kid with a computer and at 1am I'm either jacking it for the 10th time that day or playing age of empires 2.
We don’t have kids and I’m still thinking about it a few days after watching the final episode. Depends if you like good, thought provoking drama about society etc.The hype for this is unbelievable but as i don't have kids I don't think I'd find it particularly thought provoking?
but it's all about andrew tate. didn't you knowThe hype for this is unbelievable but as i don't have kids I don't think I'd find it particularly thought provoking?
I am interested in the 1 take nature of it but I suspect it's probably a bit of a cringe take and eye rolling look at "modern culture" BaD pArEnTiNg
I Guess I'll have to try it, stupid fomo TV.

then mark them as not interested. As much as i loved the show I'm already getting a bit sick of what feels like every other youtuber jumping on the bandwagon and making a video about how 'THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT SHOW EVER MADE'.
It continues as a BBC series that is also goodthen mark them as not interested.
i watched boiling point tonight after comments from others on here. decent show, but you can see how much better they have got over the years, and the story of adolescence is far more interesting.

Just made me look the film up, shall be watching that! The film or tv series ?
The film is outstanding, not seen the series it spawned though.
I've no idea. It's just over 1 hour. It follows stephan Graham and he has an old chef visiting with a girl. Which one did I watch?
i guess i watched the film. it was on channel4. is the bbc series worth watching? i found the film only good, but not something i'd go to other and tell them to watch
Detracts heavily was my initial thoughts.haven't felt in the mood to watch it yet but I will.
what do people think about how shooting in one take improves or detracts from the story?
massively adds to it on a big level.what do people think about how shooting in one take improves or detracts from the story?
My wife said the same but within 30 mins of the first episode it’s beyond doubt that he did it so I’m not sure what value a trial scene would add. It’s not really a traditional crime drama.Detracts heavily was my initial thoughts.
BUT, hearing the directors interviewed, the bits I wanted to see was never in their plan anyway. I e. Some sort of court trial, some sort of his experience in custody. Or some sort of followup on the other school kids beyond one episode. Due to the one shot nature it's just hard moving between scenes, or revisiting parts from previous episodes.
