Advent calendars - What have you got?

What was wrong with the next one?

I got the wife and daughter chocolate advent calendars this year, but previous years it has been beauty calendars - which is why I was in the dog house.

So I have bought them the Next ones.

Anything for an easy life, but disappointed at the ungratefullness from them both!

We had to go out around the shops today because my wife wanted pictures in her advent calendar. The Hotel Chocolat ones don't have pictures. So now I have a Hotel Chocolat one and a Jurassic World one with dinosaurs behind every door, she bought a Peppa Pig one. The choices were slim.

Maltesers advent calendar FTW. I havnt opened any days yet as its annoying the family so i said i'm going to wait untill christmas eve and eat all 24 and its too funny

This might be the first year I haven't had a calendar that I can remember and I'm 43.

The dog has one though haha.

I've not minded them, I've done a lot of the Exit games by them so am a little aware of the general things to look out for on their clues that are not clear.

It's been fun so far.

I've not had an advent calendar since I was a kid. I can't bear the thought of counting down the days until christmas eve. ha ha!

That's the one the missus got for me. The first couple days were a bit tricky, but we've got into the hang of them now and what they mean by certain things. It's quite fun so far!

It’s been a good month but mavity has kicked in now.

The Next beauty calendar has been excellent, earned so many husband points.

I had a Lindt one and it was alright but not worth the 15quid it should have been, I got it as a substitute.

My daughter had the 30quid Amazon Pokémon one and tbh it was absolutely not worth it. She loved it though.

I'd not had one for years until this year.






A random woman at work brought a load of Lindt calenders in, and my name was pulled from a hat for one.







This was on the 13th.
