After installing loop PC wont start

sounds like a short to me from your vid

firstly check your headers, power SW, reset, etc that there the right way

try cables in stages

1. ONLY 24 pin + 8 pin(nothing else whatsoever), just see if it fires up turn off asap as pump not connected.
2. above + pump
3. above + next component etc etc

if it does it on the first test remove your mobo and check for any foreign materials and then test with mobo out of case again just 24 pin and 8 pin and again shut down asap as there will be no cooling.

Hi Guys ,

So after 3 days i finish my water cooling and nightmare is here , PC wont start .

i'm not sure if i not broke 24pin adapter on motherboard when i first time try take of 24pin connector (hope not),
motherboard lights up

but when i try switch on or press START button on motherboard nothing happens

Any advice ??

If you think that it pulled the socket or something broke when unplugging the cable, then it is possible. It is the most awkward connection to unplug as it is usually hard up against the drive bays. Even worse when you have pipework in the way. The older unlatched 20 pin were bad enough but why the MB designers have not produced a better system than a latched 24 pin plug, I do not know.

Could it be the 24 pin extension cable that you are using that is damaged?

A thin smear of petroleum jelly around the outside faces of the pins will assist removal at a later date. Or snap off the latch if the PC is not moved around very much.

Have you tried loosening the cpu block? It looks like you have it clamped down quite hard with all that thread showing. It's worth taking it off and checking the pins to make sure you haven't damaged them.

I take out cpu and everything looks ok , no sign of any damage

What else to try ?

Bad news Mario, sorry to hear this. Was the mobo working previously or is this a brand new build?

I suggest:

1. Take all non essential drives out and keep only the OS drive connected
2. Keep only 1 stick of RAM as above. Only other thing to connect is the WC pump and obviously 24 and 8 pins.
3. Reseat GPU
4. Reflash the newest bios version from the Asus site using EZflash. If EZflash isn't working, I suspect the mobo is borked anyhow. You could switch to the alternative bios switch to see if that works too
5. Start the system using the start button on the mobo. If it doesn't start, move the stick of RAM to progressive slots until you have tried them all.
6. Try the PSU in another system/or new PSU.
7. If PSU ok and still no joy, I would suspect the mobo/24 pin are done in which case RMA mobo back.

so i re seat CPU and no luck .

Ahh don't no what to do , this is happens when noob try go hardcore and watercool system

i dont get it , start and reset button on mobo lights up so that mean system have pover so why just not start and maybe give me some error or something . i want system to start and give me error so i now what to check and try fix error but now i dont now s*it . damn i nervous.

And alex issue is i purchase full build so dont now if they will take mobo back for RMA if they will now what everything i done to it

is the system new?.. was it working before u watercooled it? and you atill have not answered why u would like you have damaged the PSU.

system is not even month old , and was working b4 perfectly with h100i , i just remove h100i and add pump and add waterblock on 2x 780ti , amd PSU should not be damage as last night i take out psu disconnect all cables and corsair self psu check it , and its passed like 5 time a row , led on psu light up green and fan spin

There must be it's for the audio connectors and that's the PCIE port. You can see the shadow anyway. It's a trick of the eye. When everything is connected what code does the motherboard display Mario?

Yeah just the angle, and nothing else obvious.

Did you try each gpu started up after fitting the blocks, before putting them in the loop?

Ah, ok. Looking at the video, one or more of the psu's 24 pin copper female connectors has is probably opened up and not making good contact with the mother board pins.

no i don't , when i take down fans and install waterblock on them and leaved them on side and later on just seat them on mobo and connect bridge and bleed loop

Well for future reference when you fit a new block just pop in the motherboard and power it up for a couple of seconds to see if boots. It won't hurt the gpu and saves a lot of hassle later.

Anyway, I'd disconnect the 24 pin molex and check the connectors. If a bit wide, gently close all the female connectors with a thin screwdiver/pin. Bit odd for a new psu, unless you forced it during fitting. But a very common fault on old machines.

A series of lit LED's or even an LED panel (depending on board) that gives a code corresponding to an error code reported during initial POST (power on self test).

i dont have any error code , 2 digit panel not even lights up , only power button and reset button lights up when i plug power cord in

its looks like i will have to dry loop and take all pc apart and test all hardware each (i really don't want do this ) but its looks like i don't have any other choice
