After installing loop PC wont start

Why? You have already shown the 24 atx has an intermittent connection, it's not supposed to click when you gently touch it. You need to investigate that first.

The female molex connectors can spread and cause a bad contact, seen plenty that have gotten hot and even melted the connector.

Obviously first test is a swap out for another psu.

Failing that, hard to tell from the image, too blurred. Only takes one pin to be open and the psu will shut down. One of the bottom right looks wide, can't tell. Have a good look and see if you can see a wide connection or maybe a bad joint on the crimp. Could be a dry joint on the MB socket I suppose, but it's far far less likely. My money would be one or more of the connectors are a bit wide and they're easily closed up with a screwdriver/pin pushed down the side.

Tell you what though it's not supposed to click on/off on touching it, you most definitely have a problem there.

Get a small pin and close up the pins on the 24pin connector a bit. I've had this problem before. Just press them towards each other so the gap becomes smaller.

Oh My LIFE

I just **** my self ,
So i took of PSU from my old PC (still in use as writing) and connect to new watercooled build , connect 24pin and one under that and cable on 2x4pin on top of mobo , connect just one SSD and one stick of RAM , when i plugged power cord in mobo (start and reset button) lights up , then i press start button and so a second i seen singh of life and then massive smoke come up , and because as anyone i panic and very quickly plugged of power cord . now i'm sure i ****ed up something but what i did broke - no clue

I just saw your other thread about jumping the new PSU (AX1200i). Are you sure you did this correctly? Did you use a pin or a PSU jumper? I wonder if this messed up the connectors as stated above?

Can you see if your old PSU now works on the old PC?

yes old psu work with old pc now . not issue at all .

i use just steal cale to connect fourth and fifth pin . dont have psu jusmper .

at the mean time i maybe found reason why its smoke when i try change psu's . its looks like fan controler was poor quality and smokes up .

now i oing to try new psu ax1200i on old pc and see if its work . if its work i will take of old psu from old pc and connect to new pc with only 24pin and ssd connected .

dont think (hope so) i broke mobo 24pin adapter

1000% positive New Psu (ax1200i) working , connected to old pc as writing this post and all good .

Dont no if i should be happy or sad as this this comes to point that something else have to be broke .

Gonna going to try new build with new psu but with all fans connected to mobo and not fan controller .
Wish me luck guys

And there's the most likely explanation, OP could easily have spread the connectors open with thicker gauge wire. Don't assume the motherboard pins are actually the same diameter if you try the new psu on an older board and it works. It may still not work on the new psu + new MB. OP, check the connectors you jumped aren't bent open on the AX1200i .

The smoke may have been the fan controller just got some current from the older PSU then failed.

So i try new build with new psu and all fans connected and nothing happens , but this time when i take psu of after try build , PSU not pass self check , so thats means mobo is ****ed up as well as psu .
After 4 days my patience end and i fill RMA for MotherBoard and PSU .

Question is what reason i should give them to not slap me and say its my fold ??? (not returning to OCUK ! )

UPDATE

So after my disaster and worried what happens to my new 3.5k pc i have good news .

2 weeks ago i rise RMA and today i have update from PCS and they say that they will replace mobo and PSU as mobo have 3cm burn mark on other side of black pce .
they say they that mobo bur affect ax1200i and they will replace for new one as well .

I'm so glad that they will replace for new as i been so much worried about that i messed up my new system .

After i recivie my pc back i will have to soooo careful when i will do water cooling again .
