Supposedly the client for this PvP weekend is a cut down version of what we have in General. I haven't seen any posts yet by a dev saying that the general client will not work with it, but there's a good chance it won't.

Not for AoC, saying you're in it breaks the NDA. WAR NDA allows you to say you are in theirs.

Besides, by page 14 i think the NDA has went out the window a long time ago

I do. If one can't obey a simple directive as to "not say you're in it", then I doubt their overall capacity to adequately perform in the beta test.

The key would be much useful going to someone who can actually abide by the rules. But hey, whatever.

Not at all..in fact there is absolutely no correlation whatsoever between a persons ability to find, repeat and report a bug, and that person saying I am in beta.

Tech and general testers aren't allowed to participate unless you got accepted ongamespot for the pvp weekend. It's gamespot winners only unfortunately. We still have access to the general servers during it, but dont think you have a tech test this weekend. Our clients won't even be able to access the PvP weekend server.

Can I ask a question! I received a Technical Beta invite the 26th of Feb, unfortunately I was unable to partake in that.

My question is does this enable me to take part it anything that is currently going on?

You can't take part in anything at the moment unless they announce another tech test. There won't be one this weekend due to the PVP beta which needs a different key and client to participate in.

Tech Beta accounts are slowly getting added to general in blocks, just wait it out for the email to come.

I like the way that people who pre-order the game to get early access then have to pay another $5/5 Euro's for the privilige.

Nice way of rewarding the early adopters and certainly means that I won't be pre-ordering this game and will now wait and read user reviews once it's been released.

No, I'm not particularly bothered about getting into the beta, that would just be an added bonus.

Perhaps I do need to chill, but I don't like the fact that people are told not to reveal information, yet they do it anyway. I don't understand why they can't just keep it to themselves.

It's annoying when you see those who will keep it to themselves miss out on the opportunity to participate.

Possibly. But if they can't handle a simple task as "keep it to yourself", then what other areas are they unable to perform in?

stop being a little baby, informing others that they are in the beta is hardly too much of a big deal for the devs, aslong as they are playing the game finding bugs etc, doing a job for free.

You seem quite aggressive and seem to moan at the littlest of things, if thats the case whats to say if you got in the beta you wouldnt go and spit your dummy out if you encountered a bug, didnt report it, shut the game down, uninstalled and wasted that key?

Does it actually really matter?
