oh rubbish! only found out about this game today and thought i could get an instant fix

I remember reading somewhere in this thread that some online game retailer sent him the EA key via email.

EDIT: just read they have run out.

Round 2 of the early access keys were sent out today, I guess they're ramping up for the 23rd, checking player/server performance etc.

my mate got one and he ordered a few hours before. Luck of the draw I spose. ( i did get a cape and he hasnt, ha! Thats right sim, ha!)

I have been lucky enough to play a bit on my friends early access today to quench the first so to speak, must admit the hour or so I played made me even more impatient for my copy to arrive.

I take it the free drinking cape was the thank you for subscribing to the AoC newsletter? I think the Collector's Edition buyers might be a wee bit annoyed at this one.

They knew long before a collectors ed was even announced that you could get the cape from newsletter.

Jersey kinda sucks. My order has been "packing" for 8 hours now. How long does it take to pack a DVD !??! I won't get it in time for Friday now and it's probably too late to cancel the order

tried phoning? My was processing for a day, i phoned and its magically shipped. Skipped packing all together.

Download the client, order a key from one of the online places and pray you get it for friday?

The same thing happened with GTA IV, because they couldn't despatch the orders no earlier than like Monday, so I think they all got despatched on the monday, but I received mine on Tuesday morning so I was happy.

This happened with my GTA IV. All games with an 'excessive demand' constantly fluctuate between 'Processing' and 'Packing' because what presumably happens is; 1) the game is processed and forwarded to the warehouse department, 2) warehouse is completely out of copies to pack and ship and so hence 3) the order bounces back to be reprocessed for a later intake of stock.

Not sure, last thing last night when my eyes were closing i was just getting quests in a new village and nect minute I had chosen to be a cloth trainer. I then found out there were other trainers in the village which I would rather have chosen

It says i need to pay to change but not how much.

Apparantly its quest based to progress rather than grinding.

no i did know nothing i just registered and applied for beta but did not get in i did get any aoc newsletter

I ordered from the Jersey place and then cancelled my order, decided to get it from somewhere else, but they've sent me the rhino mount key anyway! Hooray
