Age of Conan

Well I dont excatly have the best system around 2ghz dual core intel @ 2.4 / 320mb 8800 gts / 2gb ram and I run everything fine at medium around 30-40 fps.

Hi,

ok I need help think I found my first bug. When I arrived at tortage I was looking back through the gate and noticed id missed a chest back by a couple apes. So I turned around and somehow the clipping wasnt working and I walked through the wall next to the gate  as soon as I appeared on the other side of the gate the apes and chest disppeared and it says I am now bound here. I cant seem to get back through the gate  Any ideas? It just keeps saying i am bound here??!??

Cheers,
Hugest

You said previously that you managed to get it running nicely but then it reverted to running rubbish, surely this means theres an issue which could be fixed?

whats your specs? Res? OS? etc?

By the looks of it, theres only 2 of you having fps issues which means its more likely specific to you and your machine rather than it being "badly coded game"

Well that's exactly part of my problem with it, the graphics settings in this game seem so buggy and unreliable.

I don't know how I did it but basically I had it running on very low settings except textures at about 30 fps, then out of curiosity I turned bloom on. Went down to about 27 fps. Then I decided to turn on 2x AA. The game restarted with the AA applied and bloom disabled (It seems you can't have bloom and AA at the same time). Suddenly my FPS shot up to 50 and the graphics looked fairly decent also. I have not been able to replicate this even after 4 hours of trying. Even if I put everything on the absolute lowest setting, I only get 30 fps. Something is definitely wrong.

Athlon 64 3800+. X1900XTX, 2GB of RAM. Windows XP, latest DirectX/Graphics drivers/Motherboard drivers...etc. Every other game I have played on this system runs and looks awesome. This game on the absolute lowest settings looks like a PS1 game yet it runs at 30 fps.
