£20 off with this code NINBI9PN41YC7EQ on a Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer with Smart Cook System AF451UK

Got the offer via email and will not need another, so might be useful for anyone else considering one.

@beachBOYken I have the 10l Cosori twinfry and its been great so far. Having a divider and being able to set two cooking times and temperatures and having them sync up to finish at the same time is very handy. I hardly use my oven any more since getting this.

Has anybody had any luck doing a nice bit of steak in an air fryer? Just air frying it ....

I was tempted to try it the other night but I didn't want to ruin a decent cut.

I've done steak bakes in them - came out nicely, but don't think I'd do proper steak (but I'm not exactly very experienced at this kind of stuff).

I've done in the machines with a probe (Foodi & Dreo) with decent enough results and have used the Instant Pot to sous vide those not so nice bits, to produce slightly better bits, but tbh I prefer to use a pan with the cuts we buy.
I am tempted to try a reverse sear in the air fryer next time and see how that works out.

I got some silicone liners for my air fryer today, but looking at them I'm wondering if they will stop the heat from the lower element.. Plus wont they stop the fat from dripping off the food?

I do like the idea of being able to lift out the liners instead of the entire drawer, plus it'll be easier to clean as hardly anything sticks to silicone.

I've got similar with racks that fit inside them, which keeps the food high, allows heat circulation and fat to run off.

A search on Amazon or similar will find them.

Just clean the drawers. They’re designed like a fan oven. You need the fat to drip away and the air circulation to work as intended. If you clean them every time it takes seconds.

Found a good use for them.

I recently bought These Roast Potatoes and on checking at home, noticed they were not suitable for Air Fryers, so - Challenge accepted.

Those silicone liners work really well with these roasts, using Roast setting at 210°c for 35 minutes with occasional shaking of the tray (Ninja Dual) or a bit of nudging if using a larger Air Fryer.

They come out spot on.
