Airfield day

Hi all,

Did an airfield day with some of the chaps off this forum at North Weald in Essex. Just thought I'd share some photos of the day.

The theme of the day was pretty much driving around courses set out with cones and a high speed cornering exercise in the morning where all of us span out at one point

Great day for learning your car and spent a lot of the time going sideways

The Clio needs some fat bird in the back!

Looks like it was fun, but seriously, that clio is scary!

tripodding is what the clios do...

they just sorta dip down at the front and dig in

no, it's a patch of yellow primer that needs painting

it's not a Williams (though has the williams wheels)... apart from that its a 100% stock Clio 16v (1.8)

I have my lights on whenever it's anything other than a bright shiny day! Makes a huge difference to your visibility even if it's only overcast!

News flash, you don't just use lights when it gets dark, its so other road users can see you, i wish more idiot road users knew this.

I don't pointlessly turn my lights on in daylight, does this make me an idiot? If you can't see another car then your eyesight is duff and you shouldn't have a lisence.

The extra visibilty does no-one any harm.
