Airfield day

My car's not exactly a featherweight :p

Besides, I'd have left the DSC on. All day. And been faster than Pete's M5 because of it.

Tried with it on, it just wouldn't let you get back on the power quick enough out of corners and slowed you right down. Besides, it was MUCH more fun with it turned off ;)

reminds me of a funny part of the day

Olly and Pete do their first runs, DSC on, happy days....

2nd run, DSC off.. PLOOOOOOOOOOOOOMS of tyre smoke as they go massively sideways :D

oh... and 'that' porsche

Doing the "tracks" was a lot quicker with no DSC, it just wouldn't let you get back on the power quick enough. Amazing though it is for on the road, for that kind of thing it's much quicker (and more fun!) with it off! I shaved about 5 seconds off my time for the first track by turning it off.

If you have a decent BMW turning your lights on in daylight is a good idea as it reminds other road users that your car is better than theirs, and they would do well to stop impeding your progress. They are also good for posing.

I've been to north weald and done a cone course, was fun, but small. sounds like this is somthing for me with a bit more room to generally abuse my car.

who did you book it through? think i will attend the next one.
