I Marshal for a site called Ace Combat in Kent, it's a comparitively small woodland site but the community is great and the games are nice and varied.

You were calling for airsoft photos, I submit my set taken from our games last summer here

i will point out one thing, you need to be way more aggressive in that last video.

from about 9.40 to about 12.00 you are huddled in that room with thumbs up bums.

flash, frag and push in to each room. use multiple squads/kim's to take the building, or you will spend all night in a pointless fire fight down a corridor.

Stirling services ran some of the best airsoft weekends at senybridge training village in wales. i am proud to say that former sas john mac nearly got me killed on one of those weekends. :D

I wish they did airsoft like games with simunition and real firearms (albeit different barrels). That would be the best of both worlds.

Google "icombat", its from america using replica weapons and lasers to shock vest's, a mate is setting one up in glasgow at the moment.

So is airsoft for people not man enough for the army or for people who got rejected?

I'm struggling to understand the appeal of grown men playing with plastic guns, its a bit like larping, but wearing Ray Bans and not throwing bean bags.

:confused::confused:

What's not to understand? All boys love playing soldiers + most people don't want to be in the armed forces + nobody wants to shoot each other with real firearms = airsoft.

We did have multiple teams attack the building, but as this was a hostage situation we had to be careful when using grenades :)

Many people who play Airsoft have and are serving. I play with someone who has toured in Afghan.

Some like to play COD or battlefield, I prefer to play Airsoft

I can understand teenagers wanting to do it and can see how it could be fun but when you get adults going into full on walt-mode its a bit cringe worthy...

That picture of some guy on the previous page with fake UGL rounds etc.. sort of sums it up.

If its a competitive sport then fine - its all the pointless dressing up/carrying stuff you don't need nonsense that is a bit ridiculous.

I used to do a bit of airsoft a few years ago

It is fun and gives you a good workout , but some of the guys we played with
were a bit strange OTT about it and the kit ... jeez

Can anyone guess who has posted 46% of this thread ?
