Akasa A-62 AMD x6 *Zosma* build

i know, but simple is normal and normal is boring

Some things are simple, and making them complicated will lose you money, waste your time, and make you look like a bit of a tit. Abnormal can be a very good thing if done correctly at the right time, but the traditional way is often there for a reason, and should be followed unless you actually know what you're doing.

Having read ZZZAC other threads and going through this one I am a little suprised about the responses from some about why the OP didnt follow previous advice. The OP asked for advice but decided against taking it, where is the problem? Yes some things have gone wrong but he does not seem to be crying or constanty moaning about parts that have died, blown up or not arrived and he accepts the fact that he has made mistakes.
Now if someone gave some advice and it was followed and the result was a disaster, would the person who gave the advice then try to help further or just say 'well it was only advice you didnt have to follow it'
The money thing I must admit I dont understand, my advice on that would be for the OP to sort it out now. I understand that there are exams being taken so cut out the current PC build and posting on here and the time saved would allow you to chase the money and still study for exams.
ZZZAC's threads have been great and if there was ever an OC Hall of Fame for threads then this one should go in.
Good luck with the build.

They'd try to help. Most of this forum is dedicated to individuals trying to help others out and solve problems, and particularly the members with post counts in the thousands have devoted an awful lot of time to offering advice. I don't know of anyone on here who'd just say it wasn't their problem.

Attempt to lose £140?

NO, have you not been following my threads at all?, it was more of a attempted on a very rare zosma cpu build!
Money is hard to come by i know, but i get enough work to have this sorted by the summer, and im still have a working pc or 2 or maybe even 3 in my room, there is no big deal, with revision and schooling i dont have time to be gaming at the moment anyway.

What I said come out a bit wrong as wasnt meant to be a case of running anyone down as I myself have had some great advice and help from people on here.

Anway i thought i may let you know, we tryed ringing him again on Wednesday, and got to a answer phone message that said "THE PHONE LINE POWER DOWWWN" in a very dodgy Chinese accent. So the police will be informed tomorrow evening hopefully :)

I just think your effort has been a bit poor trying to get your money back. The longer you leave it the less chance you have of getting it back. In my opinion you should have informed the police as soon as couldn't contact them within a reasonable time (i.e. a week after no contact).

Anyway, any chance of pics of your new case + what you have so far? :p

You put far too much thinking into the "rareness", in reality it would just end up as an X6 chip and clock the same or worse...
You'd really have been better of buying a cheap X6, less Hong Kong/China/Ebayness, more actual CPU.

there was, but there's not any more to share, only because i cba. And have "poor effort"
You forget i am not aloud to make a effort, the only thing i can do about it is watch it all happen, remember i dont own a ebay account a paypal account or any of it, therefore i cant contact the police personally because it is not my account.
if i get bored i may upload pics later

nope i spent to much time thinking about the fact its the quickest x6 cpu released at stock speeds of 3.5ghz, therefore giving it a little more room to clock higher...

new news, i have to remocve one of the 120mms on the side and also file down part of the fan cage to compensate for the size of the nero S
