Akasa A-62 AMD x6 *Zosma* build

yeah, the ipod blew up and killed me, no, to be honest i have been so busy playing gta vice city on my pentium 4 i forgot this place existed, right, so ive re-pasted the motherboard chipsets with ic diamond, brought my self some cable ties, and used about 150 of them :L, and i have finally got a cpu ordered :D
Amd x4 940 @ £70 brand new and sealed :)

What motherboard is it?
The 940 won't work on an AM3 board with DDR3 that I know of...

Actually, that's not a great price either given the price some 955s have been shifting for.
I am almost certain this whole topic is just a load of utter ****.

Edit: If only I'd quoted the above post, before edit, with ZZZAC calling someone else a muppet. :D

yeah, a load of utter **** from a complete ****up, who would spend there tim trolling anyway, what a great way to spend my time, "pretend im building a computer" ****ing good one, doesnt help the fact ive ****ed up once again :(

Is your motherboard still the Asus M4A88T-V EVO/USB3?
The 940 isn't on the CPU support list, given that it's an AM3 motherboard...

The reason I say this thread is a complete load of **** is because it just seems like a load of nonsense. Just like your last threads, everything that could go wrong, no matter how unlikely, does.
There's no proper advice being sought, just hilarity after hilarity.

Its not realy that much of a problem anyway, item was described as ddr3 compatible, so if they wont cancel the order then i can open a claim so...

It is a problem, it's yet another example of you not thinking about what you are buying.

wel if all youre going to do is nitpick about me ****ing up again, face it its all i am, a complete **** up, can you not by the way this build is going, i thought you would have got that around youre head by now... i may aswell leeve theese forums

It's not really nitpicking...
Nearly every thread you've ever started, including the hilarious deleted one, has had questions from people asking why you don't either ask for, or listen to, advice.

"hence once again, I accurately read the description, and know the cpu will fit in my motherboard, and hence the description saying the ram is "ddr3 compatible" making it compatible with my motherboard, but oh wait, after a quick reminder it only supports ddr2 and the description was of course at fault...

i listened, to the discrpition of the processor , witch was wrong so its not really my fault....
And the excitement of buying a cpu after 2 months of waiting to get one didn't help...

Look at the damn CPU support list for your motherboard, look at some more pages or reviews on the CPU.
The description on a website is not always the gospel truth, sometimes... They can even be wrong! *gasp*
This IS your fault.

It doesn't have to go so wrong.
