four times, i was sent on a holiday for my potty mout ab out a month ago aswell, i just cant be asked to pdate it, wll do somtime soon, anyway, Good news :D, im on summer hols so i can concentrtate on earning money for my computer :D

I've come to the conclusion ZZZAC that you are one of two things, you are either...

The unluckiest guy to ever buy PC components... or... you are a genius.

*IF* you are the unluckiest guy to ever buy PC components, then my advice to you is to stop farting around buying from e-bay and buy from OCUK or any other reputable PC component company, where their stock is tracked and WILL be delivered usually on the specified day.

*IF* you are a genius, then I applaud you for one of the best windup's I've seen in a long, long time, to have a 'build log thread' last 13 pages, get banned and suspended numerous times and still be allowed to post is what can only be described as amazing.

Either way ZZZAC it's been an entertaining read and I 'doff my cap' to you, well done :D.

I may be old but I know the phrase well.

I was once like you many years ago, bloody minded, stubborn, didn't listen etc, and I found out things the hard way and to my cost, now I read peoples advice as it's free, sometimes its not wanted or needed but it does have one advantage, its usually 99% correct and most importantly, it saves you money.

Yeah, im slowely turning in the right direction, or trying, but im just a bit thick sometimes, doing things like buying a cpu that wont fit :L

because im actually taking things in. yeah the 940 was a bit of a impulse buy, and it was described as "ddr3 compatible" , i knew am2+ don't have ddr3 capability so thought it was am3

I would have already ought the advised cpu "AMD Phenom II 955" if it wasn't for getting in contact with the scammer.
So, how am i not taking a step in the right direction

My suggestion would be to buy the new Phenom II X4 955BE anyway (assuming you have the funds) - that means your PC could be working by Tuesday (assuming you order before Monday afternoon) and your entire build isn't reliant on some guy coming up with the goods - even though he has already kept you waiting for at least 8 weeks.

If the Zosma does turn up in the end then you have the choice to either replace the 955BE or just sell it on directly on the MM. If the guy can't find the shipment and does in fact refund you, then that's even better - money in the bank. Finally, in the (much more likely IMHO) situation where you don't get either a chip or refund then you aren't left sitting waiting with a useless system.

(As an alternative to the X4 955BE you could instead go for the X6 1055T which is now only £117 - if you really want a hex core).

well, ive just got that refund from the 940 accepted, and sold a psp, so overall ive got £100,, but im not doing anything until i find out what's happening with the zosma chip
