Akasa A-62 AMD x6 *Zosma* build

Firstly my age is none of you're concern, im 15 anyway.
Yeah, we all know ive ****** up on the occasion, and the only one piece of good advice ive ignored is the one about not getting that msi board, am i right?
i got the recommended 5830 in the end, and i know ive got a icute psu, but until proven otherwise its a good psu.
and yeah, i dont have a good quality rig for a number of reasons, i don't need a good quality rig, itd be nice, but its not needed, and ive got most of one righ beside me, its not that i havent built a computer, its that i havent built one that functioned for more than a few days, after all i had my octo core running for just over a week, and that had serous problems, instability, ram problems, and windows wasnt even using my second CPU, , but i still made profit out of it, those cpu's cost me less than £80 and i sold em for £225, one thing that never fails to ammuse me is peoples ability to get annoyed with someone about a "build log" and still listen in and follow it ;)

Well there's your problem
Well done on making a profit. Carry on doing it and make a reputable business and I will respect you. I want proof that you're doing it on a scale that can be sustained and called a business. Imagine you're trying to get a loan (from a bank - not ur mum). Would the bank approve the idea?

You got lucky once. STOP BEING SO ****ING NAIVE!!!

and you dont belive me about being able to repair things, anyone send me something, i will fix it, and send it back for postage and the cost of the component? even a gpu with artefacts? anything? just so i can prove im not as useless as you think?

Ok, i'll take you up on that offer. I have a dead graphics card - completely dead and I haven't tried fixing at all, but I guarantee you won't be able to. Pay postage to you, i'll send it to you. If you can prove you've fixed it with pics and handwritten notes and hovis, I'll give you £30. Agreed?

STOP BEING SO ****ING NAIVE!!!

No offence, but you are 15 I know people whose job is to fix problems in very complicated technology who have been doing it longer than 30+ years and they wouldn't touch Xboxes because their design is so awful. They will only take a risk if something is mega cheap and they have done a repair many times or if someone else is paying.
I bought two non-working Xboxes for £5 and "re-flowed" them and added my own cooling fans and they have worked for months but it is not the most technical thing to do, soldering caps is easy it's the micro-controllers and other tiny fragile components that are tricky. I ordered the parts for my new computer yesterday and I'm hoping for it to be fully working by the end of the week.
Nothing against you but I have to say you need to listen to people and be more patient, rushing into something is not the way to do it right, and with such a wealth of experience on this forum it is very easy to get the answer you need.

This
You may be skilled with a soldering iron, but try doing it for a living - not going to happen. you can reflow a few xboxes - anyone with a brain can. Just like anyone with a brain can build a computer (which works for more than a few days) STOP BEING SO ****ING NAIVE!!!

Cleeecooo.........i think he got the message........

I'll say that every time he says something stupid. Better still, I'll assign it a macro :p

Thanks for pointing it out. Looked at my sig, looked at the post. Both are "lime". Not sure why they look different

Trust me your address. I'll give you my paypal to pay for postage.

I can guarantee the card is completely beyond repair. So let's get these rules set perfectly, the card is completely and utterly FUBAR.

It is, I believe an nVidia 7300LE

I have security marked the card so will check it is the correct one upon its return.

To pass as working it must be able to load crysis and also do a complete run of heaven 2.5 and get a score at the end.

Should this occur, I will give you £30 through paypal. OcUK'ers shall be the judge of whether a payment is worthy?

Agreed?

EDIT: Hovis must be included

describe the fault? no post? or is it like a failed water cool and completely burnt or exploded or sumink, im not going to pay you postage for something that is like "way" beyond repair, and if i think its worth it ill trust the details and my adress, and ppg the price of postage then? :)

well seeing as you spent well over £500 on watercooling bits on your W/C thread, i dont see £30 being a problem :)

how about starting a new thread for the challenge, as its really not part of the so called "build log".

No post. comp doesn't even acknowledge a graphics card there.

I'll be starting the build log when the next part arrives :p

done deal, wait, ill leefve it to Monday, if i get a £145 refund its definitely done, i dont want to be spending much more money, even if it is post untill i get a cpu ordered

by the way this shouldnt be "to far gone" to fix.
Artefacts means a card is having problems and there isf solder melting or with a micro fracture, that causes it image to be distorted, this can be also cussed buy dry solder with no or uneven pressure on the chip, this often happens just before the problem expands to not posting at all, this means the solder has yet again fractured, melted or completely lost contact.

The same thing relates to a xbox with e74, i was testing a xbox for a friend, when it got artefacts, we reset, it froze and then got the error. This was not posting as a Xbox, but showing error, and rrod is also the ame problem, it doesn't post, instead it displays error led's. But if you have the rrod were it doesn't boot, 90% of the time its fixed by a re flow, and liquid flux also helps this
