Akasa A-62 AMD x6 *Zosma* build

Well last time i checked with a Pentium 4 build i didn't have to worry about raid arrays, mosphets, cooling for over-clocking, high power gpu's or the best type of ram... thats the glory of standard office builds... you just slap them all together and it works with little problems.

Research before hand and don't dive in? :p

Someone told you well in advance that the MSI board you brought does not have a good track record with x6 CPUs and you still brought it?

Last time I checked, neither did I.

haha since Christmas i gues. just a project realy now.
Cm stacker 830 nvidia edition paid for and now waiting to be posted :D

Wow, you bought what I can only describe as a HIDEOUS case.

To replace a perfectly good case, widely regarded as being brilliant? MOAR money wasted

ZZZAC, for pitys sake, drop an X3 in there, and you're off and away. An X3 and a reasonable gfx card (such as a HD5850) can max BF:BC2 so you won't have any issues.

Nor will you have to worry about mosFets, or advanced cooling for overclocking ;)

This. Nuf said.

the stacker isnt that bad looking, though it does stand out...
Yeah my case, perfectly good, except only space for 2 120mm fans, psu can only mount to suck warm air out of the cpu cooler, and only has 4 "5.25 drive bays. hmm, yes i think what was going through my head was practicality. and its not like the eclipse is a beautiful case either, its like what 6 years old. its a outdated lump

I know, That plus the practicality plus the fact that if i use my akasa my psu will only intake hot air therefore causing a sooner explosion :L
And that is why i brought it, compared to the bright yellow case i have sat in the corner of my room it will also be quite a pleasant relief :L

not yet, "7 are green led's" and "2 Normal are at the bottom" but i guess ill wait and see

This is probably the most illogical post ever.

You said using a pentium 4 or core 2 duo for a build, not making an office PC.

Back when Pentium 4 was the newest tech you still had to worry about cooling for overclocking, high power gpu's etc.

this is 11 year old tech im talking about, not brand new tech, what do you thik im going to build a pentium 4 gaming pc for? :L
