Akasa FINALLY answer the prayers of case enthusiasts!!!

ooooh plastic clips on the front panel..... that would be a no no for myself, while not a fan of front panels anyhow I still remember my Antec P182 the 1st day I had it... I went to push the door back heard a lovely snap and it fell off.

I still feel it would have been nicer if Akasa redesigned the front but just not plastic and better design/looks in proportion to the case itself, its like building and engineering a BMW and then putting a plastic logo on the front ;)

Gonna be on the look for a Lian Li next I reckon :)

You do know that Lian Li make extensive use of plastic in their front panels, don't you? The push-fit clips that hold the front panels on are plastic, as are the top and bottom trim pieces on the fronts of most Lian Li cases. Even the V-series with their all-metal integrated fronts use plastic in the hard drive housings, LEDs, front panel connectors and buttons. I tried to get them to take it back, as the advert said 'All-metal contruction' but they said a little bit of plastic was OK. We know better though eh? It's all-aluminium or nothing. Damn - I just electrocuted myself again:rolleyes:

Yeah its the same with lian li, and they arent much better than the akasa ones. My problem isnt them being plastic its just the quility of them, but i've had lian li ones break as well. Good thing about akasa is they can get you replacement part the next day, and have a UK company address.
