You'd have thought that after the match fixing scandal of the Serie A a few years back they'd have learnt their lessons.

But saying that, it's a minor league in one of Blatter and Platini's darling countries (Italy & Spain).
 
Ah okay cool, haven't really been on Betfair. Just had a look on their forums and they love the match fixing games. Everyone saying they are a lot more entertaining to watch. :D
 
The amount of money bet on the match certainly makes it suspicious, over £4 million on a second division game.
 
I've got it - I don't know why it took me so long to think of.

Arsenal too, are involved with this type of match fixing. What else explains years of constant disappointment during the end of seasons? There's sod all extra money to be made unless there's progression in the Champs League.

Think about it.
 
Another one yesterday as well.

Chievo v Sampdoria. The draw opened up at 1.6 on Betfair (approx 1-2).

The result ended up 0-0. I haven't a clue why and how they continue to get away with it. :confused:

Sounds like an easy way to make money though..

However, I've seen it go wrong once. I can't remember the 2 teams involved but a few seasons ago one game was 4/9 to be a draw and it was 3-1 :p

The scary thing was when I checked all the Italian scores on my phone, after 48/49 minutes most were 0-0, and I said to my dad that one of those is probably a fix. :(

dont think that was fixed

napoli would have wanted the win, they were at home and have a good home record, inter have a poor away record. going for a draw would have benefited no-one. and the types of players at each club wouldn't want to get involved in this type of thing either i would think.
