Alder Lake-S leaks

Awesome thanks,I ordered two brackets all ready,I can wait. Also I have enermax liqmax iii 360 argb white with white case,I am going to sell the MSI 360mm.
Also I have my main PC gaming rig with 10850K and RTX 3080.Just wanting to test out the new shinny stuff but it does suck waiting.

It is weird,it is not like the Intel CPU snuck up on them with CPU coolers but they must be just clearing out stock.

AMD are outselling Intel 8-1.

14 Watts, Dave, its 14 Watts, you think that is amazing, was the 5950X 146 watts vs the 188 watts of the 11900K never amazing, Dave? Also the 5800X is 18 Watts lower than the 12900K, is that amazing?

The 12900K uses 260 Watts vs 125 Watts for the 5950X in blender, and the 5950X is faster, how amazing is that, Dave?

He’s a strange one. The anti enthusiast.

He won't answer you humbug.

I will. It's not amazing because it doesn't take into account the work done i.e the actual fps. Every ADL chip released so far beats every Ryzan 5000 in perf/watt in gaming. They also beat the 5800X in productivity efficiency EXCEPT the 12900K on its stock settings.. which can be changed and then beats it soundly.

The *only* inefficient ADL scenario is a 12900K, on stock settings, with heavy multi-core workloads.

Humbug was quoting Dave2150. Are you Dave2150? If not then why are you replying to a post I made which was in response one Dave2150's posts?

You telling fibs,I bought 8 AMD cpu's and 2 Intel CPU's in the last two years so it is 8-2 for AMD.Do not know where you get your facts 8-1 mind blown. do not tell dave

LOL I bought a few hundred AMD chips and give about two dozen Intel ones away.

It’s like 320-0 currently.

Again its 14 Watts, the 5800X beat the 11900K by 70 Watts and was also faster in gaming, was that amazing?

The 5950X is 12% faster in Blender while using 135 Watts less than the 12900K Is that good? Its nuts, that's what it is.

People are being insanely selective with their parse here.

The 5800X uses 70 Watts less in games than the 11900K and you two can't get over the 14 watts 12900K vs 5950X.

70 Watts, nothing.

14 Watts, OMG that is amazing.

In the tiny DIY segment, sure.

Maybe workstations and servers too.

I know

They get a written warning for not posting hard enough :p

Its crazy how they go hyper over 14 Watts lower power for a CPU that's a bit faster in games, yet completely ignore a CPU that's also a bit faster in games and uses 70 watts less. Because its the wrong colour.

Some serious cognitive dissonance going on right before our eyes.

The 11900K was a piece of crap. Or as Steve Burke likes to say, a total waste of sand.

so where is all Intel revenue coming from if AMD are beating them 8-2?
Intel Revenue 77b
AMD revenue 3.85b

are intel money laundering for the cartels or something?

AMD has 22.5% of the desktop market.
AMD had the highest market share way back in Q4 of 2006 at 25.3%.

Gaining marketshare for 20 years or something

I don't think AMD have ever been able to get the production capacity to be a true competitor, even if they have had the best CPU

It’s bizarre. Put me off buying an Alder lake chip to play with TBH.

Intel make a lot more than CPU’s and have very low manufacturing costs, but they do sell a incredible amount of chips. It’s hard to understand the difference in size between Intel and pretty much all other company’s in the semiconductor industry. Intel are a behemoth with a huge business portfolio.
