Maybe Intel had forgot that one of their comptetors had already done just 4 years ago. Or maybe 6GHZ on 14nm was a 24/7 goal ?
Apparently they also forgot about their own marketing from a few years ago. Turns out glue was the answer all along.

I find it funny that Intel has a go at AMD for "glued" together chips when they did it themselves many years ago with the Q6600, guess they forgot about that :D

It's just marketing. When you're desperate you'll try anything to throw some shade on the competition, even if it makes no sense.
