Alien isolation 2 in the making

I think I the medical centre may have been the point where I gave up. Had several gaming sessions trying to progress, but no matter what I did the alien always found me in a locker and I just got bored with it.

More recently played the Jurassic Park VR game and that takes being a "hiding in a locker until it might be safe to come out" simulation to a new level of tedium.

There is a knack to it, to be honest I spent ages hiding but that's due to me being scared.

Don't do this.

Putting aside the fact that the "sliding along the floor" movement mechanic gave me awful motion (or lack thereof?) sickness, this is hands down the single most terrifying gaming experience I've ever had - and during the half hour I played it, I didn't even encounter an alien! :D
