Alien: Isolation...

I just started this game and I got a huge headache and dizzy feeling after playing for just 20mins? I don't have a issue with any other game?

Playing this thru my TV in 1080p

You and me both, default FOV is set to 45 which is extremely low... Going left increases it, didn't know that until today :p

what setting did you use then? Did the dizzy feeling go away.

When I first played it I thought 45 was the max fov as that was far to the right, I then turned off motion blur and dof. Played for about 30mins and felt really bad, motion sickness and I nearly puked. Thus I stopped playing!

But reading the forums moving the bar far to the left increases the FOV, so I'll try that this week

Oh ok. thanks. I nearly puked myself. It makes me scared to play the game. I'll try later and see what happens. cheers

lol at the little girls saying they feel sick. wait until you meet an alien. then you will need a sick bag and a bucket to poop in. haha

The chromatic abberation (green/red tinging at both sides of the screen) started giving me eye strain so I disabled it. Don't actually notice the motion blur on this so I've left it on.

I put in a couple of hours last night, Couldn't manage anymore than that due to motion sickness! only had this with 2 other games and that was years ago :(

I've been looking forward to this one for a little while now however the game just refuses to load and gives an error when fired up.
Can anyone offer any troubleshooting tips for this following error?

The instruction at 0x01168c3c referenced memory at 0x00000000, The memory could not be written.
Click on OK to terminate the program.
I've closed DisplayFusion and killed any active DF processes as that can play havoc sometimes but it still happens in this instance.

Core i7 920 @ 4Ghz
Gigabyte GA-X58A-U3DR
6Gb PC1600 triple channel RAM
2x Sapphire R9 290

Running CAT 14.7RC3, tried to install 14.9 when it launched but CCC had missing tabs so went back to 14.7RC3.

Any ideas?
Cheers.

Vincent, found an article by the mirror that people used the dk2 for an isolation demo. Not sure why its not supported by the full game then as i was looking forward to it.

Cant link on xbone sorry
