Alienware announces the AW2725DF and AW3225QF (worlds first 4k 240hz and worlds first 1440p 360hz QD-OLED monitors - launches January 2024)

I just remembered the video that was posted here about the 27" 1440p. Yeah zero interest in that.

I think I just need to wait a bit anyway as I have not had more than a hour or two of gaming per week the past month.

I have a 10% code, worked yesterday when I tried it on the 32" but I wanted the 27" but that was saying out of stock at the time yesterday. Now they are back on the site the code doesn't work for either, just the 34" UW
Some codes have a cooldown i.e. you can't use it back-to-back over a 24 hour period. Maybe check the t&c.

I really want the 32" 4K, although probably not the curved so would get it elsewhere, but it's not the greatest for FPS. The prices are really tempting but I think I'll wait for the LG release as they'll be closer to a standard pixel layout.

I went with the 27" because 32" is likely to be getting a bit big for my setup and as Ive said a few times now I don't want to halve my fps

I do not want 1440p ever again myself. 4K or I just keep what I got. Lol

I get where you're coming from, I was going back and forth between, 4k 32", 27" 1440p or another UW (DWF was on sale recently).

I split my week during the week between two locations due to having to take care of someone for one half.

Still unsure spending that many bones on a 1440p screen is the right thing in 2024, but I can always go back to my UW for the other half and I main FPS.

On that front, does anyone know what Dell are like if you just don't like the monitor?

I didnt use the code yesterday just tried to see if it worked and it applied the discount but today I just got a message saying something along the lines of this is a valied code but can't be used on this item. Anyway I entered my work email again on the Dell deals section and got them to send to codes again. This time theres a seperate 5% discount code specifically for these two monitors so I've used that

I've not returned anything to Dell before but looking on their site you have the usual 14 days and there's no restocking fees or anything like that.

Just returned an IPS to Dell, no problems with it just didn't like it. All automated, I just put in I was not happy with the product. They pay for return, just need to action the request within 14 days, easy as you could get.

if you ordered the 27" whats your expected delivery date? My order confirmation says estimated by 22nd but if I go the Dells site now and add one to my basket it says it would arrive by 7th, so tomorrow.
Am I going to get a nice surprise tomorrow or am i stuck waiting till the 22nd now....

Fantastic, that's brilliant to hear,thank you =)

Do Dell charge up front?
I've just ordered the 32 inch OLED AW3225QF and I've been charged immediately for it. Been looking forward to this being released and managed to snag 5% off with my Perks at Work discount so I'm quite happy with that. Delivery is set as the 29th of February but I imagine it will move up at some point. I'm sure this is similar to other releases that have happened in the past where the lead time is out quite a bit but it moves up quickly.
