what did you say to make them lower the price ?

I guess other monitor launches which are imminent might be adding pressure? Did you pull the trigger on £903 ?

Judmann has already sold his, guessing he couldn't get along with it (he's getting the 32" LG Gsync one that's coming from what I've seen). These are v v good though, and if you can get anywhere near 850 they're worth it (the new HDR ones are gonna be insanely priced imo, 1500+ minimum)

Why sell it already?

The online chat agent continually asks for either a quote reference or a name of the person who got the price £850 so if any of you out there got that price want to Trust me the Dell quote reference or even your postcode and real name for leverage only...I would appreciate it.

Is the LG going to be any better than this screen?
Its VA right? hmmm:rolleyes:

Hello! It did indeed, the panel is fantastic. No problems with it whatsoever, I must be quite lucky in that regard as a few people have mentioned yellowing and bleeding.

Overall very impressed with it, you couldn’t ask for anything more than what this monitor is to offer in my opinion. Managed to get it for £829 delivered, unbelievable price!
Is this with vat?
Any chance you could scan your invoice and trust me a copy?

I spoke to them in chat a bit later in the day, and asked for there best price and that I was thinking of getting the Acer Z35p
There first offer was £940 then dropped to £903.
I carried on trying to get a lower price started at 860 then 880 but bloke said the computer won't let him drop the price any more and If I bought now I can have it for £903, I said I will make my mind up over the weekend and he said that's ok.

I haven't bought the monitor yet to sell.

Did you use chat or phone, and what day and time did you get your price

still not sure what to go for The Alienware or Acer Z34P

The Alienware panel is native 100Hz, which trumps the Acer.

Edit: my mistake, if you mean the new X34P, that is also native 100Hz, so not much between the two. Get the cheaper one, though Dell customer support is pretty good.

I think I mean z35p lol although I have been looking at the x34p but can only see it priced at £999 @ the rain forest.

Have seen the z35p for £800 so still undecided to go for that one or the allienware for £903, any thoughts to sway me.

I spoke to them again on chat at the same time my mate was chatting to them about 11ish.
We asked them to price match with a Z35P and we both got the same price of £1053.
We then asked them to do better, which mine came back at £1000 and my mate was £1012.

Later in the day about 5ish I went back asking them to price match with the Z35P which I had found for £800, and they came back with £945.
I then told them I was looking at spending £850, to which they came back with a second offer of £925, to which I said still to high, how about £875.
They then said they would love to give it to me for £850 but its out of his hands and the computer would cancel the deal if they put it through,
They then said they would speak to there supervisor, which they then came back at £885.50

I decided to bite the bullet and take them up on there offer
Just keep trying and you might get lucky, the later in the day seams better, maybe with end of month coming they might not reach there targets and will sell for cheaper.
