I'm fairly new to pc gaming still so dont know to much i was tempted by the LG 34GN850 bu with the discount the aw38 wasn't a lot more an the g9 is just to big for my bedroom

My Aw38 is being delivered tomorrow, will be interesting to see how it compares against the G9.
Mine should also *hopefully* be delivered tomorrow... I say hopefully because the tracking says "Customer Refused Delivery" from their failed attempt last week when I wasn't here.... so I'm simply hoping they use their heads and bring it again.
Ah I thought you were not going to bother with the AW and just skip on with the G9?

Tried to cancel the AW38 it but it had already been despatched, it arrived this morning.
Question is do I send it back unopened or have a play with it first.

Ill tell you a story. At one point I had the LG GL 950 and GN 950.
The GN 950 was setup and I was thinking should I even bother to setup the GL knowing the problems it had with fans and what not.

Unpacked the AW, so easy to set up and ergonomic, no tools required. Fab design on a different level to the G9.
definitely build quality Is on another level
Screen size is hugely impressive, if I hadn’t already used the G9 then I would have been delighted but I had of course.
performance was good, couldn’t see any huge differences in terms of colour spectrum or vibrancy but I didn’t conduct any in-depth tests just ran a couple of games and played a couple of movies before packing the AW away.
It’s a great piece of kit but given my main usage is playing games with some office tasks still much prefer the G9, it’s totally awesome.

Wireless keyboard - I always thought they were not as good as wired due to latency and what not?
Has the technology advanced much in this area?
Yeah lots of high speed polling devices nowadays so latency isnt an issue anymore

Have you noticed the fish eye effect on the G9?
Not with the games I usually play, nothing overtly noticeable.
certainly nothing that detracts from the experience.
